They posted that we would get one in feb at the same time they released info on the hammerhead.

Also I thought that they announced that a new HW was coming. ANd I assumed it was seperate from the Hammerhead expansion.

Perhaps they just worded it wrongly, and meant March by "this month".

The Hammerhead was announced in Feb. And the OP had not wrote anything when I replied except the title so I was replying to that and not the question he editted in afterwards.

Since it was updated in feb how could that be.  At the  time of post this month was february

I find the problem with the heavy weapons is they dont seem to upgrade as you level or not significantly. Therefore late game they are not so powerful anymore (excluding the CAEN). I don't mind though as I'm not a fan of overpowered weapons.

being in Aus I do believe they announced it on friday ( 26th ) which to me is essentially weekend and unless Bioware opens on weekend like supermarkets I doubt it was coming in Feb. it will come in March some time

Actually, it was thursday.  I just checked and I do seem to remember it being thurday.  People including me were chomping at the bit for new DLC info.

True, it is weird, but then why word it the way they did?   Regardless if you post something on the last day of the month and say this month, you would assume it would come out in the current month.  Hopefully they just thought this year was leap year of something.

A new heavy weapon is always fun. Still, what else is there? We got everything from a grenade launcher to a tactical nuke as it is. Maybe a mine laying weapon or a Claymore Mine type of device. I always enjoyed luring enemies into my mines in FO3.

I'd like a pants goblin gun. It steals enemy pants and so the legs will be unshielded/armored so it'll be easy to disable them.

lol, I just had a stupid thought. They should put the Shrinker Gun from Duke Nukem 3D in the game as a Heavy Weapon! Ha, never would happen but the thought of it is hilarious! Getting rid of the shield and armor of a Geth Prime then ZAP, crush it under Shepard's foot!

Good Idea. 

Or as someone else stated, a beter missile launcher.  Something that uses a bit more heavy ammo per shot but is basically the ME universe equivalent of the Javelin Missile, a anti-tank missile which in ME can maybe take down a heavy mech in one or two shots depending on the difficulty you're playing on.
