So I wrote to Transgaming support, and after like 10 days of waiting I got this reply:

Hi Alex,

Thank you for writing to us about this again. I sincerely apologize for the confusion
regarding the available languages for Dragon Age around the time of your purchase.
Not including extra languages with the initial release was a decision
made shortly before the release date.

We are working with BioWare to finalize additional content for Dragon Age, including more
DLC, patches and also language packs. I do apologize for the delay in their availability
compared to the game's release. I would like to ask that you extend your patience just a bit
longer on this one. I am regrettably not able to provide an ETA on upcoming material, but as
I said we are working with BioWare on it and it will be coming.

Please stay tuned.

Kind regards

Just wanted to let the Mac community know about this.

Thanks a lot for sharing this information with us. It's great to hear that the Mac version will at least reach feature parity with regard to patches and DLC. I just wish that EA and BioWare would seriously reconsider their information politics about the Mac versions of their games.

Sorry, but I only believe this when I actually see this. "Sorry for the inconvenience, we're working on it" is more or less Transgamings standard reply regarding all support requests. I've seen this since Puzzle Quest and hasn't changed the slightest bit since then.

I coming to believe that Transgaming is either unable or unwilling to supply us with the additional DLC and patches.

Hey, I'm willing to take a huge sigh of relief to know that Mac isn't totally done for DA:O content. Thanks for the update!

I want to be optimistic and believe the reply from Transgraming, and not look at the dark side as Janischsan does (sorry, no offense)..

I too sent an email to Transgaming aksing about the availability of DLC content and the Awakening expansion. I just received this response from them on 02/25/10:

"Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Dragon Age for the Mac.

We are working with BioWare to finalize new DLC and further expansions to DAO. Unfortunately

I cannot comment beyond that, except to say that we are looking forward to releasing more

content as soon as we are able to.

Best regards..."

Looks promising so far.

It might help them keep their mail traffic down if they just put on an announcement on their site, like: "Yes, we ARE working on bringing the missing content/Expansions/Patch/Awakening/(whatever they're working on) to the Mac version" or something like that.

Or maybe not. Maybe EVERYONE of us should write a mail to them, asking the same questions. Maybe that will keep them motivated...

I agree. I must admit, they responded to my email rather quickly. Hopefully they will make some sort of an announcement.

Maybe they actually want us to email them as a way to gauge popularity. In any case, it can't hurt.
