Ok, when i first played Me 1, i had no idea what the **** was going on... It was awesome, hardly anyspoilers, did not think Saren was just a pawn, and felt freaked out about the Reapers and thier extintion cycle. Then, spoilers for Mass Effect 2... well, they didnt ruin everything like Collectors being once Protheans, but i mean surprise elements, i understand that it is to catch the viewers eyes, but i just felt the story to be more predictable, except for the collector encounters, first playthrough had me on the edge of my seat, unknowingly waiting for the collectors too attack me, or run into, It could have been better if it wasnt for all the Damn spoilers about the story. I felt like I just filled the pieces of the Puzzle while going along with the game too easily. But i guess thats my own fault, When me 3 spoilers come out, like trailers and ****, im going to not watch it, or most of them, because the last thing i need is to have the game ruined for me, well the begining of the game, such as shepard dying, it could have felt more dramatic if the Devs didnt tell us, like the suicide mission, i want to feel that experience in me 3, the suicide mission **** i thought i wasnt getting out of thier alive, now that they didnt spoil, loved the final mission, but the beggining of the game felt ruined because of the Spoilers, well some of it, anyone else want bioware to limit the Spoilers in Me 3?
Too many spoilers Bioware, please keep it down before Me3

OP nobody cares here in the Characters, classes and Builds sub-forum if you had your fun divided between playing the game and looking for spoilers.
Mass Effect 1 was not the mega hollywood hit game that ME2 was.
If you search for spoilers, your just having the enjoyment of knowing what happens sooner. The game is still pretty entertaining. Very good replay value.

I followed everything from ME2 obsessively and about the only thing they spoiled was the intro and the meeting with the Illusive Man. You know, stuff that isn't important and you learn right at the start of the game anyway.
Oh wait, untrue: thanks to a leaked convention video I knew Nassana died. Well, I guess that means I didn't enjoy my playthrough at all, did I?

Since I knew I was going to buy ME2 half way through ME1, I refused to watch or read anything about to game. Why watch character bios and trailers about a game you know you are going to buy if you are concerned about spoilers. I even stayed away from forums until I completed my first play through.

Well this is the second game in the trilogy. It's intended to be inferior to the first game, plot-wise, since you don't want to reveal anything too important for the third one. I assume ME3 will bring everything to the table and would have more surprises than both ME1 and ME2 combined.

You spent your time watching trailers/looking at screenshots while reading interviews/previews or even just reading through here then blame bioware for spoliers ? lol

I agree that the death, while widely known before the game came out, was still wonderfully done. I found myself flinching at the sight of the Normandy bursting into flames and being reduced to almost nothing. Very powerful moment.

Just feel lucky you weren't spoiled about the Collectors being Prothean and the Collectors building a human reaper.
I knew about both of those before the game was released.
I still enjoyed the game though.

There are a lot of things that would have taken me by surprise had I refrained from searching for spoilers in the trailers. It didn't ruin my experience but it could have made it better. Grand_Commander13, your gross exaggeration demonstrates that you're missing the point. As for us, we can't expect BioWare to keep it down. We'll just have to have some self-control. Things I would have found surprising and exciting had I known absolutely nothing at all:
Shepard's death.
Working with Cerberus.
Garrus and Tali.
Grunt.
Legion.
Morinth.
Jack being a woman.
Probably a few other things as well.
