I'm running DA on a GTX 295 under Windows 7 64-bit and the second GPU is not being used (I am viewing the GPU core speed via a monitoring gadget on a second monitor and the second GPU remains at its idle 300Mhz frequency when the game is running, unlike every other game).  I am running the latest drivers from Nvidia for the video card.  Is there some reason this game doesn't make use of the second GPU, or is there a specific setting I must configure in the Nvidia control panel to enable this?

Are you running the latest beta drivers from nvidia? This beta version has only now added SLI support for DA

Which version adds this support? And do you have a link?

Thanks in advance.

Can't give you a direct link as I don't know your OS but search here and you want the 195.39 beta

I'm now running the 195.39 beta drivers and the second GPU is still idle in-game.

I just did a test on my system, Windows 7 x64 with 2 8800 GT in SLI with the 195.39 Beta drivers.

It appears the nVidia recommended mode is single GPU. I had to force SLI to be active. The Alternative Frame 2 rendering seems to perform best. Temporarily enable the SLI indicators to verify that SLI is truely enabled.

I also had to explicitly create a profile when I had the Show only installed programs checked.

Thanks for sharing your config. That seems to have made the difference. Cheers!
