Is it possible to be a Male Human Noble, Have Alistair king, and also have alistair take morrigan up on her offer? I wasnt sure if you had to be a female PC to convince him to do that.

No. I'm trying to figure out a different ending that is a bit less depressing than my previous playthroughs, but yet I am unwilling to let loghain live. The amount that it betrays alistair is hard for me to do.
I suppose I would let loghain live if there was an ending possible to let him sacrifice himself against the archdemon, AND alistair not hate my guts
