I have a thought that Anders might be Wynne's son.It is mentioned when you hear some dialogue between her and alistair that she has a son it is implied that the baby would be around alistairs age. The parents were both mages so it would be likely it would be a mage. The baby was taken away after birth so Wynne problaly wouldn't recognize it as an adult. Do you belive that anders could be wynne's child. discuss

I have to say I doubt it. Anders grew up outside of the Circle and was a teenager or so when they found him. The description comments on how he knows what he's missed.
I wouldn't think Wynne's child would have been raised outside of the Circle if it was taken from her by the chantry... meaning I would expect they would have kept track of him.
Anything is possible of course, and that's a very interesting theory. And it would be quite the story.

It's an interesting idea, that's for sure. It'd certainly bring a lot of unexpected depth to both related characters. It kind of makes you wonder how true something like that could be considering how old Wynne is and whether or not her son could've been able to grow up to be someone like that.
What gets me though is how people are already making these potential connections before the game has even came out. I can't tell if it'd be surprising or awesome or what if this theory were to be true. Sort of like past threads detailing theories on Reaper motives.

Even if he was her son, neither of them would know. As the Chantry would not tell Wynne where the boy was, and the Chantry would never tell the boy who his parents would be. So they coul stare eachother in the eyes and never tell know.

For companions you'll potentially meet Loghain, Wynne, and Alistair depending on your decisions in Origins. In regards to NPCs, Master Wade and Herren reprise their roles, with Wade offering to make even more fantastical goods if the player brings his list of ingredients. Loghain's daughter, Anora, may also appear in Awakening depending on your choices in Origins. From David Gaider's novel "The Calling" - both the Architect and Utha are present in Awakening.
