I honestly have no idea how to get 2 shots in Cain. Can someone explain.

AFAIK, you have to choose the Paragon path in Zaeed's loyalty mission to get the sixth Heavy Weapon Ammo, and you have to wear as much +ammo armor as you can.

Get all the Heavy Weapon Ammo upgrades (which would take you to 190%0 and then equip the Cerberus Assault Armor, which boosts heavy weapon ammo capacity by 10%. That should give you over 200% capacity and thus two shots.

Get all the heavy ammo upgrades, use the 10% heavy ammo leggings, enjoy. That's what I do. Managed enough cain ammo to use it at all of these points

Garrus loyalty YMIR mech, blue suns commander, 4 henchmen fight

Thresher Maw

Suicide run hull breach



and twice on the reaver larva.



I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple o other places I usually use it every playthrough.

Paragon Zaeed loaylity mission is actually a 7th. You just won't get the one from one of the Blood Pack N7 missions, what is a 6th for those who follow the Renegade path.

So you're saying that if you get the Heavy Ammo from choosing the Paragon path in Zaeed's loyalty mission, then the upgrade on a random N7 mission won't be there?  Or will it be the AR damage upgrade that you didn't get because it's on the Renegade path in Zaeed's loyalty mission?  I always choose the Renegade path because I don't want to miss the AR upgrade...

That...is exactly what I said in my post? 

I guess I just read too much into what he was saying.  The heavy ammo on Zaeed's Paragon path is a seventh heavy ammo upgrade and is not needed to get two shots with the Cain.  If I'm understanding it correctly now...

If the one gotten from going Paragon on Zaeed's loyalty mission is the 7th upgrade, where do you get the 6th? Because the way it's being said, you can get 7 Heavy Weapon Ammo upgrades, then add the Ordinance Pack Leggings or Cerberus Assault Armor to get even more ammo.

There are only 6 heavy weapon ammo upgrades in the game. 5 if you choose the renegade path on zaeed's mission. As far as I know the only way to get two shots with the cain is to choose the paragon option for zaeed's loyalty and equip the ordnance pack or the cerberus assault armor. The supposed 7th upgrade is a phantom upgrade and likely a bug.
