Quick question guys: If I choose the "It's just about Sex" Dialoge Option with Jack, will Shephard still just look at the photo of his ME1 Love interest before the final mission?
I'd like to know because I only had a love interest with one of my two ME1 characters and I want to see where this leads in ME3.

I was just asking about the scene in ME2 Schroing. I just assume there wont be (much) backlash from Ash if it's only casual.

TBH the whole romance carrying over mechanic seems to be broken.

It is possible for a player to romance Tali, break up with her, romance Jack, break up with her, then romance Miranda break up with her and (apparently) if you break up with her your picture of your ME1 LI in your room is flipped back up as if you done nothing and never cheated.



I'm curious to see how the Devs sort this glitch out in ME3.

having sex with Jack doesn't start a romance. it ends the chance of one. Jack will stop talking to you afterwards. I wasn't that bad I think...



anyway, I was involved with Miranda at the time and it never came up. what happens in Engineering, stays in Engineering

Not sure it is a glitch.. it only signifies that you are no longer actively with someone else.
However, a Dev mentioned that there is a flag in the savegame that indicates whether Kelly went up to your room after the endgame, even though Kelly doesn't cause the picture to be turned over, either.  I'd be willing to bet that flags are raised for any of the other relationships, too...

I think your past love interest will manage just as long as your Shepard doesn't sleep with Jack...then, if that happens you get a big "Wtf were you thinking...? Was it THAT lonely out past the Omega 4 relay?!" dialogue.
