 I have a question. I've completed Circle quest, Redcliff quest and Elven quest. I have +100 relationship with Leliana and always was nic e to her. But there romance simply dont start and i begin to think that i am somehow screwed my romance. What should i do?Maybe there is a command in console or parameter in files which can help me(like bg2)? What what have i possibly done wrong? Or maybe i am wrong and romance will start later?

She will give you a quest..After I completed it was when the Romance started in my game...the quest starts after you get attacked by people trying to kill her.

You need to have a discussion with Leliana about her past -after that you get a random encounter on the overland map that points to Denerim.



Only if you cleared the event in Denerim, are you able to ...uhh... tie things down with Leliana.

I did that quest and even after that the romance didn't start to build up, after every side quest I did I always checked back at camp wondering if the romance option will be there...



I am also starting to think that the romance sparks only if you kill Marjolette...I let her go and nothing happened after the quest...

I'm a bit bummed, as I found out I missed Leliana entirely by not visiting some in in Lothering before it got destroyed, though I'm almost finished with the game now... so I guess next playthrough.

No, you are missing something else -I didn't kill Marjolette and still managed to get some quality campfire time with Leliana.

Strange then, gave her all the gifts (plot wise) and had 100% with her....what am I missing? D:

Hmm did you find the flowers her mother used to love ? Gifting Leliana with them got me a short dialogue sequence. Could be important...or not.

Yes I did, it was during the defense of Redcliff against the "zombie" horde

I exhausted all dialogue options with her, got her up to 100%, the flowers, finished the Denerim situation.



Right after Denerim, back at the campsite, I got the "empty bedroll" dialogue. Not sure what you are lacking. Perhaps you can kill the romance path through bad dialogue choices ?

I have completed her personal quest in denerim. It changed nothing. Looks like i have failed her romance

Or...could it be possible that I need to kill the romance with Morrigan? In the end I went with her after I failed all attempts with Leliana (still hate myself for agreeing with Morrigan in the end >.<)

Romancing Morrigan might be a problem for Leliana, I suppose. :-)



I only tried to woo Leliana and it worked.

Not me -though I stopped my playthrough shortly after the campfire scene with Leliana to start over with a whole new character.

Yes she sang for me, while I was at camp restocking during my quests in the dwarven city

She sang after talking about how the elves reminded her of her past or somesuch.

from what i have seen in the million other posts on this topic there seems to be a low level conversation arc (approval of 20s or 30s) where if you choose the comment along the lines of "i think you are a good friend" you kill your relationship chances ....



as for me, i got a kiss out of her before her personal quest and slept with her shortly after, and still no song from her yet though that may be due to the fact i have slept with her and have only completed one of the main questline arcs thus far (mage's tower) also i slept with her well before i gave her any special gifts like the flowers .... all in all i would say always pick the flirtiest, cheesiest line possible to romance her, it worked for me .... oh yeah and talk about shoes >.>

nope .... the first playthrough i had she never sang though i wasn't romancing her

this time through ... nope not so far ... and i have already slept with her

Yep.  I wasn't even romancing her either.  I don't remember the exact dialog, but we were talking about my Dalish heritage or something initially I think?  And she thought I might recognize the song.  It was a very nice scene

I wish I didn't have an awful memory for dialog.

What personal quest of Leliana are you talking about? I have the romance since ages now, relation at 100%, she sang the song at the campfire, I have no more conversation options left...

How could I trigger that quest?
