I absolutely loved the first game.  I have played it through multiple times on both the 360 and PC.

I'm about six hours into the second game, and it keeps getting worse.  Everything new that is implemented is horrible.  I expected and encouraged changes, but this game is horrible.  How did it get such good reviews?

I'll stick it out, because I want to see the story unfold, but the game mechanics and graphics are horrible.

Well I like Mass Effect 1 more as well but to say that number 2 suck is very wrong.

It simply was not the game I expected.

Graphics aren't too bad, but I do feel they were implemented a lot better in Fallout 3. They didn't have agelines on most characters. Anyway, welcome to the club. People who weren't happy with ME2 overall seem to fall into 1 of 2 categories. The first didn't like it because there wasn't enough "loot" or "items". The other didn't like it because it focused too much on combat.

Quit your blatant trolling of the waffle topic.

I love this community, after enough "Hate/Whine" threads they blossom it into something beautiful.

I liked ME1 but ME2 has better content and more missions. But the main plot was pretty weak. The best parts were in the side missions.

But waffles ARE pretty awesome.

alright.

I thought ME2 was an amazing game, and an improvment in nearly every way over the first. The main story was sorta weak, but it still had its powerful moments, and indeed the side missions were very powerful.

Exactly. How dare anyone talk about Mass Effect in this thread clearly dedicated to waffles.

Seems BioWare is always atop of threads with "Sucks" in it. Or they already expect people to hjack them and exhale deeply
