Seriously, can we just pretend that the Phoenix armor never existed in ME3?
Ah yes, "Phoenix Armour". Hardsuits that are allegedly coloured white and fluorescent pink. We have already dismissed these claims.
Muahaha. Well played Angry.

This is a game where a woman goes to hostile alien enviroments in a skin tight catsuit and a breather mask.
Fix that first, then we'll talk. At least pink armour is still.. you know.. armour.
But how else are you to distract the hostile Vorcha but with excessive blue cleavage?

Some Salarian scientists have presented research concluding that the start of the Krogan Rebellions before 700 CE was caused by the abundance of pink Phoenix armor that was recycled for Krogan use. Ironically, the aerosol gel used to dispense the genophage also retained a light pink color.Forsakerr wrote...

I actually didn't notice the first time, probably because of the red lights in the Normandy, and I lost my glasses at the time.
I was amused by his goggle helmet though, that thing looks ridiculous to me.
Totally agree, the armour looks red on my screen so I didn't actually realise what it was until I saw posts about it...whereas the helmet just reminds me of a monkey's head.

Cultural trend shifts have enabled men to wear lighter shades of red or pink in the future. This trend similarly applies to the dress protocol established by the Alliance. It allows soldiers like Kaidan to maintain camouflage in rare occasions, such as infiltrating through a flock of flamingos or a field of pink wildflowers.

I hear this complaint a lot, very few people comment on the fact that bright pink and white armor is just as rediculous for Ashley to be wearing. Her pink and white armor is one of the few things in ME1 that was a complete failure.
I've always disliked it on anyone.
I actually yelled at the screen the first time I played Virmire and saw Ashley revert to her default armour for no reason.

Miranda should be wearing Colossus armor, that would be badass. No instead they have no armor and the ones who do have that crappy white/pink crap that looks like a toy storm trooper uniform.

I found the pink armor rather crazy for Ashley as well. As a soldier surely she knows the value of not standing out from everything else. What sort of situation would that color scheme work?
Actually believe it or not it is true that pink is concidered a camophlage color for desert and ocean ops. Though i'm betting this fact was not concidered when they made that "bungle"?
Mountbatten Pink, also called Plymouth Pink,[1] is a naval camouflage color, a shade of mauve, invented by Louis Mountbatten of the British Royal Navy in autumn 1940 during World War II.
They also used this color for ther desert fighting vehicals in covert ops.

These color's are not the color's of hot/neon pink and bright white used in Ashley's armor.
The color's of pink used in camouflage are better described to someone who does not know the color as a reddish brown.

I guess after I saved the council they decided I wasn't in any immediate danger and pawned my gear to pay for salarian breeding contract subsidies or some pet project like that.

They all just started to mass produce heat sink's. They noticed the problem that they could sell a weapon and armor and then the person never bought anything else from them, so they made the weapon's with inferior tech, came up with some stupid geth tech excuse, and then could sell heat sink's out the ass. Best part about it is, the crappier they made the heat sink's, the more money they made.
