Hello.
I
am in the process of achievement whoring Dragon Age and I have come to
a little problem unlocking two throphies -- Bhelen's Ally and
Pragmatist.
Yesterday (before any news broke of the PSN
problems) I was playing DA and saved right before the fight to unlock
Pragmatist. I fought the fight and won, but no Trophy unlocked. I
continued on and sided with Bhelen afterwards and no trophy there
either. I decided not to bother with it for the night and read today
that they were having problem with the PSN. Once that was supposivily
taken care of I got back on my PS3 (updated my clock because I saw it
wasn't the right date) and tried to do the fight again. Again no
trophy. I went ot Bhelen and again no trophy there. Am I missing
something? Should I sync with the server then try again -- I notice
that Assassin's Creed isn't 100% on the interwebs, but I have unlocked
100% on my console.Also I am unable to connect to the
Dragon Age Servers. I don't think this is nessessarily a problem with
anything since I think I have been unable to log onto the servers for a
few days now.

I'm having this same issue. Was accidently playing during the 'PSN Metldown' and should have unlock the trophies: "Sacrilegious", "Hero of Redcliffe", and "Wine, Woman, and Song". After hearing of the problems gamers were running into, I quite playing until today when I heard that things had been resolved. I've got an 80 Gig system, so I did what was recommended (reset date and time) and tried playing again from a save game that I had made prior to doing the actions to earn those trophies. I've gone through the motions of what should have earned me the trophies multiple times now, and nothing happens. I'm not looking for a fix necessarily, I guess I just want to know if anyone knows if I need to wait more before trophies will function properly, or if my file is now unable to earn trophies, or what.



If anyone knows anything, besides complaining, please let us know.

I lost all my trophies...hopefully because my account shows them they will rectify that *starts praying*

Yikes. Sorry to hear that happened. I guess the word on the street is that they will have things resolved by tomorrow (tuesday) but if anyone knows anything else, please let us know.

I just lost my traveler's trophy, along with a couple of others. For example, I lost the Harrowed trophy. I couldn't unlock back the traveler trophy with my saved game, so I tried getting back the Harrowed trophy which is fast to get with a complete new save. It didn't work either. So I guess I can't get back the trophies I lost or any other unless they fix it?

That sounds problematic. Sorry about that happening, I guess all we can do now is wait 'til they patch or do an update. Thanks for your input, BloodyRaziel.

argh!!! I have the same problem!! i lost 3-4 trophies after the stupid PSN problem!! The level 20 mage trophy! I tried to get it again by loading a previous save just before i hit 20, and when i leveled up to 20, no trophy!!! I DO NOT want to start from the beginning with a new mage! This seriously pisses me off!!! is there a fix?! would i have to start all over!!???

atonyc68 , that is why i've tried getting back an easy trophy with a new save. I suggest you wait for a patch or something instead of starting a new game and maybe wasting like 30 hours for a trophy that doesn't look like will unlock. I certainly won't waste my time getting back the traveler trophy if i'm not sure it will work.

thx, ya agreed, though i remember when the PSN problem was just fixed and it said i had 0% trophies, so i just loaded a game , hoping it would restore all my trophies maybe, and while i was kill'n a few darkspawn it gave me 3 trophies in a row, i think it was the trophies that are given  when you kill 100, 500 and 1000 darkspawn, weird!

this glitch is not the fold of bioware or EA bud a problem inside the ps3 so sony is responseble

the problem is we dident sync our achievments whit psn and they are gone (lost in the air)

so oddem line is we can't recover them how sad it sound its the real deal folks i am sorry

Because of this bug I've managed to unlock the Elite trophy (Main character learned two specializations) but not Veteran (Main character learned one specialization). So does anyone know if I can get that back? I tried loading a save just before I acheived "Wine woman and Song" but I can't unlock it again. Do I get a second chance to unlock it on another playthrough?

Ya i kinda knew that, the real problem is when you load a save and try to get that trophy again, we aren't get'n it!!

I tried to get the city elf origin trophy on a brand new play through and it didn't give me the trophy, wut is go'n on?!

The main problem seems to be getting back the trophies we already had before the crash. If I understand correctly it seems that people are able to get new trophies. Reinstalling the game doesn't work. I'll try to format my PS3.

I was having this problem a long time before the bug in the Psn. I just play offline and I got the trophies.

Bloody, reformating seems extreme and likely wont help people unless they never synced with PSN to begin with as trophy information is stored both on the PS3 unit and PSN account. That earned trophies never reappear seems to be a communication issue between PSN and BioWare and would likely take coorperation on both sides. I believe for the PSN trophies you could do as this person has done, play offline and then resync with the reaquired trophies.



Why I believe this is because I have trophies on PSN that I do not have on BioWare as I was not logged into PSN nor the BioWare servers when I got them. However, they uploaded to PSN when I synced my PS3 unit trophies with my PSN account.



To correct this I believe BioWare's servers would have to do a trophy check against PSN trophies and PSN would have to allow BioWare access to PSN trophy information. Sadly I don't imagine either side being willing do either thing for our trophies, though I think they could.

Ya a bit extreme just to get the trophies, but don't do it yet!!

hughes here might be right!! I retried get'n the archmage trophy offline, reloaded a save, and it worked! I just got the trophy!
Gonna try and see if i can get my other trophies back now

i suggest you try this Bloody before you format!!

I was thinking about doing it a long time ago and it can't hurt do format. Anyway all my data is backed up, and I want to get a new hard drive for my PS3 pretty soon so in my case I would have done it anyway.

Ok, thanks for the advice. How do you go about playing offline? I thought the game wouldn't start if it couldn't sync with PSN?

Plyaing offline is just not signing in to PSN, ya don't worry it starts, dunno why it works tht way:pinched:

The same thing happened with my Annulment Invoker trophy. I hope that this will be fixed...

i've played mage origin strory 4 times now and still havent got that trophy of it. I hope this gets fixed

I have the same issue with Heavy Hitter -- first did it during the Leap Year fiasco (thus no trophy), and now even though I hit for more than 250, I don't get the trophy. My Bioware profile shows I have it, but the PS3 does not.
