Man, that Samara romance attempt was painful.

"in another life"
I felt BURNED really bad. That is exactly what a girl in real life said to me when she turned me down.
I hope that I'll be able to get some hot Asari MILF action in Mass Effect 3.

I am not sure, on the 360 I only had the casual sex option open. On the PC version I had both the casual sex and the more emotionally driven dialogue option open. Not sure as to why. You only get either option if you are Paragon I think.Aisynia wrote...
How do you get that? I have gotten the whole "I like you a lot" thing but never beyond that. I wanna do that on current playthrough.
Basically when she confesses she wants to be your friend you have "I am happy we are friends" and "I want something more". The second later branches out to asking her about casual sex (which she shoots down faster than you can sneeze) and a more emotional one about happiness and all that stuff (the one I described earlier).

I believe you have to forgo all other romantic options, to start. After the suicide mission is over (or maybe it's just before it), she'll strike a conversation stating that "You've been a good friend to her", in which you have to respond, "I want more". Keep pressing the issue through the conversation, and when the first Paragon option pops up, select it.

You replace a Dragon Age character portrait with a custom one then wait for that character to upload.
Have to own DA of course. Or use the character creator maybe. Never tried that.

Aye, I think so too. However... you can still romance someone else, just not confirm the LI. Example I got the love conversation with Miranda (the music scene no less) but told her we should stay friends. Also, I basically admitted to Tali I like her too (linking suit enverimoment conversation) but did not have the whole muscially enhanced talk by the EZ Reactor yet. Then I spoke to Samara before having the "final confirmation" talk with Tali and I got the emotionally charged scene with Samara.FlyinElk212 wrote...

So you can have the final LI conversation either banked or turned down and you will still get the Samara one.

You must be Paragon and single.
The conversation starts with "You've been a good friend to me", and is her last convo. You can get it before or after the suicide mission.
Pick "I want more" then pick paragon options.

Hmmmmm. Interestinggg. So I think we've just pieced it together then:
1. You have to be Paragon
2. Have NOT initiated the final LI conversation
3. State, "I Want More" when presented the option after the "you've been a good friend" dialogue.

I wasn't actually expecting the "Romance" music there.
You could feel the sadness and loneliness from BOTH characters, not just Samara.
One of my favorite "emotionally engaging" moments from the game.
Good work Bioware! This is what I call mature stuff, not the endless cursing from Jack or pushing people off rooftops. More material of this calibre in ME3, please?
