I hope we get a Batarian ex-Spectre forced out because of the Batarians becoming a Rogue State and denouncing ties to the Council with the whole Human vs. Batarian Skyllian Verge saga. And his (maybe her) recruitment mission you get the choices to assassinate a Council member (preferably the Turian or Udina if he was chosen at the beginning of ME2), kill the Batarian, talk him out of it or have him arrested.
You could either gain the trust of the Council if you kill the Batarian or have him arrested. Either of those options would give you access to an actual newly inducted Spectre and the Council assigns them to your mission. Lose the trust of the Council and lose you Spectreship if you assassinate gaining favor with Batarians across the galaxy despite your background. Or keep all parties placated by talking the Batarian out of it (possibly with the renegade/paragon options).
Also a Vorcha squad member with the option to kill Conrad Verner, and if you bring the Vorcha along he will scream "BREAK FANS!" just before you shoot him.
