It's a sci-fi trope, get used to it. Practically every sci-fi universe has the bulk of humanity being made up of WASPs.



This is despite tha fact that only about 15% of the world's population is "white"...and that percentage is decreasing every year.



In the future, we'll all be a generic shade of brown, but sci-fi writers haven't gotten the memo yet. No big deal.

Actually Obliterati, Bioware did get the memo, which is why a large portion of the people in ME are of ambiguous race (Ashley, Kaidan, Gianna Parasini, Udina, etc.). It was even written into the books.

Actually they DID get the memo.



Captain/Councilor Anderson is a mix of several (dark-skinned) races.

Udina is clearly a mix between indian and other races.



50% of all the human NPC's in in Mass Effect are tanned.

 TIM is clearly a little racist, being the head of a violently pro-human organization. His family was probably racist too. And, in the past, that meant less breeding with darker skinned races. Now it means no aliens.

He only works with aliens because he has to. And only through Shepard.

Where did you get these figures from?  The top of your head?  What about the people that bought the game,  you think most of the buyers are Africans?

The point was, where is money coming from?  Australia, North America, Europe?  Or is it coming from Africa, South America, Asia?

Oh, and I'm not saying all SE Asians are brown, just as not all Latinos and black Americans are brown. Just that there are plenty of examples of non-African people who do not have light skin.

I think Jalem001 is right.  I couldn't say it any better.  A lot of people need to start taking responsibility for their own lives instead of blaming others for their problems.
