I get so sick of modern day "reverse" racism where the inclusion of a "white" person in any role portrayed is somehow perceived as indication of a racist agenda by the authors/producers.



Recently I read some ridiculous attack on the film Avatar, based upon how much it cost to make it, and this was enough evidence for said fool to declare that it was made by Zionist supremacists because nobody has spent as much money making a movie about the plight of the Palestinians.



Seriously, I reckon that a good majority of the people who go looking for racism and get up in public and declare that something is racist are far more likely to be portraying their own racist prejudices against whatever race that they're complaining about.

I think it would be unusual for a black person to be the leader of a racist organization. I think being part of an ethnic group that has suffered through racism would make that person more culturally sensitive and open minded.

Unusual, but not nonexistant.  Black supremacist organizations like Nation of Islam and Black Panthers are all on the far fringe and they hold no political clout.

White racist groups like the Council Of Conservative Citizens on the other hand have members who are elected members of congress.

Could Martin Sheen have done a VO for an old African American lady? Also if you want to be racial about it, many companies are led by people of different ethnicities, but corporate is still usually male/white dominated. It has nothing to do with race, its just coincidence.

As a black woman, I don't mind saying we're not exactly large in number here . Doesn't matter, though. You see the stupid BS some of these people say regarding Jacob and remember why you avoid most threads that even hint at race being discussed.



At any rate, whatever TIM is, he's really easy on the eyes and ears, even for an old guy.
