RTO DLC sounds like a pretty good compromise to me.  Only the devs really know the deal with importing the goods; at least they realized it was a legitimate concern for a lot of people:

I suppose this is a nice consolation prize as my left weapon is Maric's Sword, however I really hope BW finds a way to at least allow the WK dlc. If you're supposed to be the new grey warden commander than the Warden Commander Armour is a must. And I would really like to keep Starfang, my right hand weapon. Still, it's a start...

Ok just one question. When it says that items can be imported from a previous save, does it mean all items in your inventory or just what your character is equipped with?

Hopefully within then next few days, they'll decide to have WK and TSP items carried over as well. *crosses fingers* :innocent:

Keep in mind that The Return to Ostagar's Power of Blood spells already are being imported over, so there's no incentive just to do it for the items - If it's all about "the business", ofcourse.

Yeah I would like to know this as well. I'm sure it;s been answered some place but haven't seen it yet.

My bet will be that the rest won't be added by Bioware, and people will argue that you should be satisfied with just having RTO and not to be greedy. A few months after DAOA has been released, the DLC for DAOA will start hitting the market, and the original DLC will be pushed into the background.

I  want to keep other stuff that we got, sentimental values, looks, Starfang, that Warden shield i was farming. I will buy Awekening, but still have doubts if i will spend money on DLC.

I planned on buying RTO next Thursday before this announcement. So, uh, I guess I would.

There's not much story there, but what is there is important to me. (yes, I've played it on other platforms at a friend's house)

I kind of expect to get our own unique Warden Armour. This would be much better imo, even if it is the same as Sophia's, as it would be more personal.

Mabey a shield aswell seeing as both of the Warden Commander's we met, Duncan and Sophia, had the same shield. It may be awarded to all Commanders.

...I think Duncan was commander anyway.
