I know Bioware took a lot of time for ME2 in making sure all the classes were balanced and everything, but why can't we build our own classes? I can see this being feasible now because armor restrictions were removed in ME2. Is there a reason we can't?
I don't really use shockwave that much as an Adept, so why couldn't I just replace it with Adrenaline Rush or Combat Drone?
Why No Custom classes?

Thats a little false Zenn.
ME2 is most def a RPG, it just doesnt have the in depth customization some other RPGs have. I mean not every RPG you can have a sword wielding mage thief geomancer thing.

about the only RPGs that you can play and make you own classes and or main character are ones made by bethesda and interplay and since interplay hasn't made a game in 12 years that leaves just one company. there may be more out there but they are not mainstream RPGs for the pc or xbox 360. and i didn't count fable since in the end every ones has the same skills.

You could custom build your class in FF7, FFX and FF12 so its not just Bethesda's games.
Kind of the case for Pokemon/Shin Megami Tensei games as well.
