Don't you guys see the reflection of Tali's chin and maybe part of her lips in the upper left corner of the inside of her mask in this top picture.... ???

It looks like a reflection of a normal human-type chin to me if that is indeed the reflection I think I'm seeing.

Nothing of a Quarian's body looks human, with the exception of the torso. So why all of a sudden should they have a face similar to humans. None of the aliens in Mass Effect, with the exception of the Asari look human (which I applaud Bioware for that. To many scifi shows and movies have human looking aliens. I also have a theory on why the Asari look human). I think the best thing for Bioware is to never truly reveal her face, that way it up to the fans to imagine what she looks like.

It's one thing never to reveal her face. It's another to manipulate and tease you over the course of three games and still not reveal it. At this point, if BioWare were to decide not to make a reveal, they'd be doing the latter -- and would deserve to be shredded for it.

People here who are arguing that they shouldn't reveal her face are being selfish. There is a great curiosity about it for a lot of people. If you're not curious, fine, don't watch the scene. But don't sit there and lobby for something you know is going to frustrate so many people.

Why does everybody have to be so selfish these days?

Mass Effect Ascension and the mission in ME2 that has the crash site of the Cyniad both show that Quarian skulls are very similar to our own. Paul Grayson also describes their facial features as very human.

Myth busted.

LOL That's still really really vague.  Says nothing about the possibilty of hair, skin, eyes, facial structure, scales, skin pigmentation or lack there of....etc... etc

You're going to ****** people off no matter what so you may as well show what Tali and quarians look like in ME3.

Otherwise we'll be stuck with these space elf fan art pictures forever.

Personally, I'd like them to be lizard men.  Not giant walking iguanas like Turians with artichoke shaped head plates but humanoid with scales and patterns.  And forked tongues...

A nice compromise between the "making her too human" and the "tali should be hot" groups would be to not give her a traditional mouth.

You know, like the Protoss.

One point for why quarians don't look human is just look at the males. When you visit the Migrat Fleet you'll see all the female quarians look exactly like Tali but the male quarians have oddly shaped heads. I'm geussing that's where the "predator mouth" idea comes from.

My theory is that the quarians all look about as human as the drell, as in same mouth but different eyes and skin texture. The males however more protruding mouths and bigger noses.

Just because their helmets are shaped weirdly doesn't mean their heads are. The Death's Head helmet comes to mind quite quickly. It's more likely that their helmets are just shaped differently to distinguish them more easil from the female Quarians.

Tali still probably has a predator mouth, and we will probably never see it.

some native wild life could have say eaten the bodies meat before you got there?

When an animal eats a carcass the bones get scattered across acres of space, they don't stay in perfect anatomical position.  My girlfriend is a biologist and she collects tissue from large mammals (like bears and deer) that have died in the wild, and after scavengers have been at the bodies she says she's lucky if she can even find all the big leg bones, let alone the tiny toe and wrist bones.  That skeleton had to have biodegrated like that to end up in that position.

I'd like Tali to be attractive, but not a space-elf. Something unique yet appealing would be nice. Maybe cat-slit eyes or a small head fringe (not like klingons) or something. I'm tired of the standard "geek-obsession-elf-babe" look.

This, keeping in mind that even Garrus and Thane aren't unattractive. I rather not have her/their face shown at all if they're going the "hawt" way.

It depends about the storyline a bit, but I'd like if seeing her/their face was some sort of test of loyalty, although this would have been more sensible in ME2. She might not be the prettiest one but do you stand with her or dump her? If she is the hottest one of the bunch there's no point to it and there will be even more Tali fans just because of her looks (Plus all other male LIs are very human and attractive)

You know, the more I think about it, I think they shouldn't show Tali's face. It's a mystery and that is part of what makes her, and the rest of the quarians, so interesting. Lots of people have their own idea in mind of what they think they look like, and if bioware chooses a face that not everyone agrees with it could spoil the game for them. It's a bit of a reverse 'McGuffin'. (As in, it is important to the view, but not essential to the story.)

Like with Garrus, I really enjoy him as a character, and I knew I shouldn't have done it, but it kinda spoiled it for me when I looked up an image of his voice actor. Not because he looked bad or anything, but now I associate that face with Garrus instead of imagine Garrus the way I did before.
