I wouldn't imagine sustaining two official bioware DA forums as a good idea. I'm assuming they'll be an overlap for a time period after which the old DA forums would be archived.

Does anyone have any info on the matter?

Your assumption is correct - the old DA forums will be archived sometime after Nov 3rd, and the community will be directed here.
