Whata you mean new? Cuz Tali and Garrus are my favorites cuz of ME1. The new ME2 squaddies are all extremely likeable in different ways. Thane and Samara intrigue you while Grunt makes you laugh. All good.

Those are my top three, I do like all the new squad members though. Although I really wish Liara would have joined. I would like to replace Jacob though, he was my least favorite, I want to replace him with another Cerberus operative modeled after Hudson from Aliens.

He could have cool one liners like "How do I transfer out of this chicken**** outfit?" and "Game over man... game over!"

Those are the stand outs for me. I know it's odd to have so many second-tier (Story wise) characters listed, but given their fairly small role in comparison to the main game, they have tremendously powerful personalities, I think that elevates them a little bit more than the main characters who kind of "HAVE TO" Be A+ Material.

1. Mordin- He is one of the most complete, well developed characters I have ever come across in gaming or any other method of story telling.

2. Legion- Simply a cool character. An insight into a being/race that think and act radically different than our own. Also, he's hellas baller.

3. Thane- One of the more spiritual characters to come along who doesn't push his religion, he just lives it. It was refreshing and invigorating to talk ethics with him and I wish the conversations could be more varied and in depth but I realize that might not be possible.
