I have my ideas on the keepers and i would also like to hear yours.

1- The keepers are the original creators of the reapers, using them as vessels and war machines, like the geth once the reapers became sentient then they would have easily been able to take over and enslave the keepers.

2- The Keepers are just like the protheans, a race that was taken destroyed by the reapers and thier cycle and were kept around as the "keepers" of the citadel (because as we know it is the keepers that open the citadel relay to allow the fleet in.

I think it's very possible that the Keepers created the Reapers although I believe that when the Keepers created the reapers they were very different than they are today. They were probably more primitive machines, like the Geth. Over time though, their sentience grew, they gained more wisdom and they developed ideas on how to improve their hardware my absorbing the very essence of organic life and incorporating it into their hardware.

good point... assuming the keepers are the creators do u think they always looked like those spider crab things??? or do u think they were changed like the protheans?
