Good call on keeping jacob the whiner out... but why'd you put Jack beside shep? Why not Grunt? He's more significant and WAY more canon, just like tali and garrus

Atmosfear3: Thanks! Because of the response to this piece I’m going to find the time to get a couple more characters in there and make it wallpaper friendly. Jacob will be in there too
Majikman77: Hey, glad you like it! Yeah I like the older sci-fi posters, they have real personality, like you can see a little of the artist who painted it within the work through their colour choices and the way they interpret the characters.
Syokhan: Wow, thank you very much! It seemed only right that the illusive man should be glowering back at the viewer from the top of the pyramid. I didn’t realize this piece had made it to another thread, word gets around fast! 0___o Rest assured I’ll be doing the whole Mass Effect art thing for a good few weeks to come!
Mundus66: Cheers! To be involved with Mass Effect in some small way would be an incredible
experience. I think it’s inspired a lot of artists to really push themselves. I certainly think they had a great thing going with some of the ME1 art styles; but I guess things can’t be too bad when your choices are between good and great! Thanks again!
Andaius20: Thank you! I’ll be sure to get it done asap. What I really need to do is win the lottery so I can do this kind of stuff 24/7
Rabbit channel: Grunt came together very quickly for this painting, sometimes it feels like a character wants to be painted, others make you work for it! The scalp detail I’m certainly happy with. When I fiddle with the composition I might give him back his shotgun.
Srau: haha! No, I hadn’t seen that! Thanks for letting me know. The pressures really on now, I better get my painting head on!
YooperLaw: Thank you for the kind words, I’m really pleased I’ve been able to give something back that a lot of folks have enjoyed. When I get around to reworking it I’ll see if I can get the entire team in there. Thanks again!
Morning_Star: Thanks! Good to know it’s wallpaper worthy!
Console Cowboy: Haha, I know how you feel, especially with some of the cool sci-fi / fantasy games and
films that have been coming out lately! Just got to keep on keeping’ on! Many thanks!
racer06, scyphozoa,Forsythia; Thanks very much, I really appreciate it!
ccconda: Haha, yeah I’ll be adding Legion, no worries
lines of the pose initially worked in such a way to lead the viewers eye down to Grunt and it complimented Garrus on the otherside. It was an aesthetic choice for the painting rather than a choice made on which characters I related to the most. Jack was actually one of my least used characters. For me personally Samara and Miranda had all the biotic skills I needed. When I rework the piece I’ll be revisiting all the characters to refine them further. Many thanks for your feedback!
RIGHT: I said there was another piece in the works and there is. Haven’t had much of a chance to work on it as things at work have been more manic than I predicted, but I thought I’d show a work in progress. I’ve done it in book cover format because that’s something I’d like to get into at some point.
A looooooong way to go on this piece yet. I must be about 20% of the way through. The likenesses need
working on. The Omega ‘Queen’ (who’s name eludes me right now) needs her facial markings among many other things….and Zaeed needs his hand ;P Which is on a linework layer I’ve just taken off for now. Composition, colour, all of it will be beefed up hugely by the end. I thought I’d put this up now, as I’ve got to travel to Wales in about an hour so I’ll be gone for a couple of days. By the end of next weekend I aim to get this done. Thanks again everyone!

Hey lord Penguin 24. Thanks for putting in the time to do that, very cool. This will certainly help hold the fort until i can get around to doing the full character version ^___^
No problem, what would be really epic is one of Conrad or Mr. "Finger Quotes".

You could probably make some money selling high-rez prints of this art. I know I'd buy one...

I would just like to drop in and say it is an absolutely amazing piece of art and that I would sell my collection of fish to get a proper 1920x1080 wallpaper. so please, if you do decide to take some time to modify the painting to be a wallpaper, go all the way and show us 1080p/widescreen folks some love
PS: oh, and you get infinite respect and love from us Talimancers

Exu1a, consider getting in touch with Bioware to get that artwork sold on the Bioware Store. I know I would pay any money for a lithograph with that painting of yours.

To borrow a phrase from Jeremy Clarkson, it's so beautiful I had to bite the back of my hand to keep from crying out.

+5 to you. Normally I would take off because of Tali and Jack not being in the right place, but that is just personal preference.
