Exelent work!, might I suggest making the Elusive Man a bit more elusive and the collector base on the far right corner and perhaps the geth on the left looking back.



Still great composition, well balanced I guess the order and position of squadmates its more of personal choice rather than a ME universal lore. Regardless is great, the omega drawing is very interesting, throws a bit off in the 2 figures below, uneasy to understand whats going on there, might been better eclipse or blue suns mercs posing, then the patriarch facing oposites of Aria but a small figure.

Hey Folks,

I just wanted to share a piece of Mass Effect fan art with you that I’ve been working on. I don’t usually do a lot of art for other peoples IPs but Mass Effect is so gripping, so frikkin awesome that I just had to paint it. The hardest part has been tearing myself away from the game long enough to paint this.

 

I’ll put a small version here on the site, but if you follow the link you’ll find a larger version.



 

On another note I started a Liara sculpt ages back that I never had a chance to finish. She’s in ME1
Armour and stands about 10 inches tall, if I get time I’ll see if I can finish her off and post pics. – Take it easy!

Truly spectacular stuff. The lightning, composition, texture, implied details like the junk field, everything about it just blows me away. Any games company ought to be proud to have promotional art of this qualtiy for their games.

BoormanTheChauffeur – Thanks for taking a gander dude. Things like the promo and comic book artwork were certainly the kind of things I was using to benchmark this piece. Definitely a learning experience for sure!

BeresaadSoldier – Cheers! Glad you like the changes I made to Jack. Getting the balance between painting her tattoos and making sure there wasn’t too much visual noise was a bit of a balancing act.

OniGanon – Haha! Yeah, seems that I might need to rethink my business plan a bit! Glad you like it though, I rather like the abstract details too, I might have to play that up in future pieces if I get the chance.

Burdokva – Thank you very much! I did do a couple of pieces for ME1 back in the early days, but they’re very rough around the edges now that I look back at them *shudder* I guess if I were to do a new piece with the ME1 characters in this style at least there wouldn’t be as many to paint! That was a killer!!
