I know it was a line in ME1 when talking to Harkin... don't know if it made it into ME2 though.Veen130 wrote...
What? If thats an actual line I gotta hurry up and start a Fem Shep. Male Shep didn't get any kool lines like that during his romance.Merilsell wrote...

No.
Thats why I remained faithful to Kaidan. Wasn't too hard after my first slu...err "romantic" talks with Jacob.
The next time you are calling me a priiize, you'll be picking your teeth up from the floor.
Just mentioning.
Yup ME 1 reference here. I now just wish they had saved that line for Jacob *sigh* It's what my Shep would have said to him along with a "Sorry I only settle for the best...see HIS picture there on my desk? Go figure..."
Oh teh (missed) possibilities

I doubt it. I've only heard of the Jacob romance as being this way. So unless people are keeping their lips shut, it looks like Jacob is the only romance in which you have so...forward?themanynamed wrote...
Actually, now that I think of it, there are quite a few conversation options in all the romances that just didn't really work. Were there similar issues with the manShep romances?

Even the MaleShep lines had me doubting... Ugh, it's just best to leave him for the swarm. That, or try to put him into the garbage disposer.

MaleShep- Jacob you volunteered so you take the vent *evil grin*.

As an RP option, it'd make sense for Sheppette to be a little lost and lonely after two years passing when it's only been two weeks, she's on the rebound.
No excuse for it. Sorry.
I don't care how on the rebound I am, I am not gonna talk to someone like that.

prostitutes get paid most of a time. Jacob is having it for free, so
more like a floozy or a bimbo. I mean Cerberus should pay Shep for this romance like for N7 mission - at least you could buy an upgrade :bandit:BUT THE PRIZZZE[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sick.png[/smilie]

Come on now after the 2008 Olympics everyone wanted to screw Michael Phelps. They just didn't expect to do it in ME 2 with his face replaced by Kanye West's.

Really? ****ty? I didnt get that vibe at all, I felt femshep was empowering and toyed with the poor witless fella. The problem if anything is you have no choice but being all saultry with him, but romance/nothing is a common theme in ME2. I still felt it was better than the "subtly-but-not-so-sublte-inflating-of-chest-poor-baby-come-to-momma ordeal with Thane. Garrus was the best conversation wise.
Though my femsheps endeavours happen off-screen mostly, with anything from 2 to 8 imaginary partners. Foolish notion of sex=love is not for my femsheps, it´s a great stress relief, power demonstration, cardiac training and substitues for 30 minutes jogging. win-win.
There is a certain overtness to Hale's delivery with ol' Jacob, so I can see where people are getting the vibe from (I got it myself too), but you've got a valid point there. It could be read as Shep as taking any port in a storm as they say, but it really is a case of personal perspective rules. Nothing wrong with that at all... speaking from a female perspective, men aren't the only ones that can sit back and say they enjoy/have enjoyed getting their ashes hauled without it resulting in more than exchanged phone numbers and the obvious. Might not be popular to some, might not float with some people's moral stance (and there's nothing wrong with that either), but it's true... sex does not always equate to hearts and flowers happy ever afters. Sometimes it's just an itch to scratch.
*shrug* Just my take on it all

But teeeh priiiiiiize
No really first I was after the paramour achievement and went through the cringe-worthy dialogues by hitting the X-Button repeately, thinking well the heck I can reload after getting it and a fair amount of brainbleach. Then with fear I triggered the Omega 4 cutscene knowing of WHAT would come. ( I regretted it deeply at that time because it felt so wrong to sell my Shep for 50 GS to Kayne West
Though much to my surprise it turned out that my Femshep is a smarter woman than I thought. Instead of getting priiiiized by Jacob, she remained alone in her room, remiscinding on her relationship with Kaidan and literally drooled and "sadfaced" at his picture. Aww now that's true love.
I don't know why the scene didn't trigger (have done all possible awful dialogue) but my respect for my Shepard instantly grew to new levels after that. She must have dumped him in the garbage or kicked him in the nuts in the 2 hours left till ETA when the camera was off before returning to her room and Kaidan's picture. From what I have seen, Miranda flirts feels very natural (special mention for the "renegade" flirt which just rocks) and Tali romance is very tasteful and tactful.Actually, now that I think of it, there are quite a few conversation options in all the romances that just didn't really work. MaleShep: A rabbit (Miranda, not that there's anything wrong with bunnies mind you
FemShep: Kanye West, Thane "Fishlips" Krios, or Garrus, whom I like very much but Turians are like some kind of weird chicken.

I dont know, maybe it´s because I´m swedish and sex is like any other need that needs to be filled and noone hides it when that´s the case, but in my experience women are most often the aggressors even when the man thinks he is- They are just as blunt and needing as us but they´re more...umm..covert about it. So while I agree it´s annoying only because femshep has no choice but being saultry with the first man she sees, if it were a different conversation path but I usually ignore Jacob anyway, he´s worse than Garrus when it comes to slinging the bull.
I really hope that is what most peoples problem is, I cincerly hope it´s not cause femshep is the aggressor cause then I fear for us all. Personally my reaction was "Hell yes!" the first time I heard femsheps "let´s talk", it was like long overdue.
