So much hate all of a sudden

Now, people are playing the game for their 5th-10th time, and are basically complaining because they aren't getting the same thing out of it they got their first play through. This game, like many Bioware games, is like crack. You'll never get as high as you did the first time. Now it seems everyone's cracked out, freaking for that ultimate high. They can't get it, though, so they complain about the game in the most ludicrous ways. The exact same people that posted praise after praise while playing through the 1st or 2nd time.
That's enough, crackheads! This game is great, and you know it. The few that genuinely disliked the game, 1st playthrough and all, have most likely walked away from the forums by now.
I've got news for you, junkies. You've got about 2-3 years to wait before you can get nice and blazed from ME3. No amount of ****ing about the size of the citadel or the scanning or bashing devs will get you your fix. I recommend you preach to the modders and drop suggestions for DLC. You're much more likely to get some satisfaction from that angle.

I'm still not finding much to complain about.
I'm also in the "not playing any MMOs atm" club where we race anxiously from game release to game release, trying to fill the void.

I've played BG2 more times than any other game I've ever owned, and I only stopped because the disc broke. Not so for Mass Effect 2, I've gotten so bored of it I used an editor so I never had to probe or find money, and I renamed the opening movies so I didn't have to sit through them when it started, and I renamed the EA logo movie because it's unskippable... well, it was unskippable.
Also, bewbs.

Then on another playthrough my character managed to fall through an elevator. Reload a save indeed.

2-3 years eh? ok maybe 2 but not 3 unless they royally mess up with the story...
A quote from Casey Hudson BEFORE ME2 was released.
"We're already working on 'Mass Effect
3' right now. We do want to develop it in concert with listening to the
way people are experiencing 'Mass Effect 2'," he said.
"We don't want to take forever with it. We want people to be able to
conclude this trilogy that have been with us over the years...
[Development will be] along the same kind of time frame as 'Mass Effect
2'."
Considering they have stated elsewhere that they intend to use the current system, so all they have to really work on is the story and interactions in the game. Then also considering it was just over 2 years between ME and ME2, your idea of 3 years is laughable.
Might want to do some research before making such crazy posts. They have also have already stated that there will be more DLC coming for ME2 than there was for ME.

I can't help but think DA:O's "Pay for every little DLC" paid for some of this free content on ME:2

Much like the Crashed Normandy, there was no emotional impact.

Something more nostalgic rather than the face of Pressly who I never, ever talked to would have been better.

I'd like to see some more weapons with comparable strengths and weaknesses as opposed to just a basic starting weapon, a good upgrade weapon and then the optional uber weapon that we have now. I was quite pleased to see the Eviscerator shotgun for that reason. More DLC like that please, Devs!
I'd really like to see stuff like the Rosenkov Kovalyov, Armax Crossfire, and Devlon Stinger again. Maybe the old Onyx armor too.

Same here
I am having fun. If I don't have fun, I don't play, which leads to me not posting on the game-specific forums. Very simple.
I have a couple issues with ME2, but they are overall fairly small.

Thats a very poor view on a hole.
If we all said that nothing would ever change in anything. No harm pointing out the flaws but still enjoying the best.
And i do agree with OP, but no doubt it happens with all games. Thats just the nature of things!.
Altho i dont really see "hate" i see people pointing out faults in story, characters, what got cut and what didnt (modders ect). And thats not necessarily a bad thing, it might help improve the next game.. Or make it worse, xD.
p.s i still want to be able to skip the frickin intro /roar angry.

Or disliking things removed that everyone ****ed about in the original game.
Yeah, should be the time of day again where those guys start coming in.
I will say that you should be able to customize each characters armor. I want to see Miranda in Colossus armor, Badly. That is all.
