I'm replaying ME1 and getting ready to do the final 2 missions (I can actually go through the Mu right now). Anyway, I've found the heavy human, and the med Turian. I was wondering where I found tali's colossus armor and where I can find light human colossus armor? I have found the Quarian before , but can't remember where.
I was getting ready to play BDTS section and I never did that part before as I just downloaded it. Is there Colosssus armor in that mission?
Any help is appreciated.

If you request quarian armor at the end of BDtS you will get Colossus.

II've never played BDTS before until later tonight. I found Quarian Colossus armor without doing that....well, I think I have. Its maroonish, right?

Red and black. BDtS is the only guaranteed place to get a suit. Otherwise it's just random whether or not it appears in stores.

Aaaah, random. Thank you kindly. Can you also request light human at the end of BDtS?

BDTS is the only static location for Colossus armour. You can randomly find it any box but there is a reasonable chance in any given play through you will never randomly loot a suit. All varieties can randomly show up on the C-Sec requestion officer, you can also buy the Kassa Fabrications licence from him at which point you may be able to buy it on the Normandy. Any merchant with the non-human armour option can stock any of the non-human variates (light Quarian, light/medium Turian, medium/heavu Krogan) but again the chances are slim. If you really want suits the quickest way is to use the shop reload trick.

If you have the Pinnacle Station DLC, you can also get Colossus (and Predator X) armor randomly from the merchant vessels you can contact in your apartment.

I wouldn't bother with pinnacle station. Either Normandy or C-Sec Requesition officer is going to be faster and you can only get Quarian VII (from medium price option) Quarian X and Medium Human X.

Just to point out the BDTS reward can vary by level. I went in with a character in the mid 20 and got Ursa instead.

One of the reasons BDtS should be done later on.

I know at that point I was about my 15th or 20th character and didn't really care, just thought to point it out so that no one is upset about not getting colossus.

Morlan's the most reliable non-DLC source for quarian/turian/krogan Colossus.

I don't know about human, because I didn't even know that EXISTED until my 3rd playthrough...

Yeah, it's nice to get if you're really struggling. But if you've been through insanity a couple of times, you really don't need it at all. The Predator X line is very good, and much more common. And unless you are relying on Immunity as your defense of choice, or trying to survive being puked/spit on 10 times, the extra sheilds and hardening can actually be more usefull.

I just wanted to say this; the armor locations are tentative at best. In other words, it's random and can be thought of as a matter of luck. It does depend on your character level, though -- to a large extent.

Yep pretty much,  on my insanity play throughs, I find myself counting more on crowd control and disables to prevent damage rather than armor.  I will admit  I don't play soldier much, to me it's kind of boring.  So while colossus is nice it is nowhere near needed.

A lot of times I'll swap out a more protective level 6 armor for something with less shields/dr/phyics protection for a level 7 for the extra mod slot.
