Okay yesterday I found out my bioware social account and ea account were not linked to my xbox gamertag.
I went through a few threads for help, went to the ea chat support and the operator linked it. Problem solved.
Now today when I turn on my game it asked for my cerberus code. I already used it when I first played the game.
Just to see what happens I put the code that was on my card and of course it said it was already in use.
Does this mean I have to fork over money now to access the network,  because if I do I'm not going to be a happy camper.

I'm having the same problem except that I had the DLC....it worked and everything since I bought the game...(On the release date) and I used the cerberus network and all Zaeed and the blackstorm armor and whatnot but now it's saying that I need to redeem the code again or buy it.  I tried redeeming just like the last guy did but it said the code is already in use.  Again, like the last guy said, I'm not going to be a happy camper if I have to fork over another 20 bucks for a 1600 microsoft points card just because you all are having issues.  Oh, and before you ask....No, I did not delete it from my hard drive.  I'm not retarded.  I'm super annoyed.

So you guys are saying that you redeemed the CN code when you installed the game, then downloaded the dlc and played without any trouble, and now suddenly it doesn't work any longer?

I'm not sure I understand your problem (or if you have the same problem), but are you signed in to the same gamertag that you used to redeem the Cerberus Network code? If it doesn't work to download or play with that gamertag, then I don't really know what's wrong.



And you haven't by accident looked at the Marketplace perhaps? Because there it always say you have to buy it. But that's just because you didn't redeem the code via Microsoft, but directly from EA.

No...at the main menu screen of the game where there is the resume game, new game, etc options it used to show the cerberus network as working.  I got the stuff from the cerberus network...the DLC stuff.  I have had characters use it...but now it's saying that it isn't installed and I have to buy it or redeem a code.

Oh, and yes, its the same gamer tag as I've always had.

ok i picked up the terminus armor promo code and redeemed it here on this website after creating my account my problem is i cant figure out how to link it to my xbox live account to use the download has anyone else had this problem if so id appreciate any information on how to correct the issue or if im royally screwed and need to pick up a new code

The only way I was able to fix this annoying problem was to go to the EA chat website. The operator reactivated it for me. After I explained what the problem was.

I think you have to log into your EA account and add your gamertag as a new persona. Then select it as your persona.

Here is the page   support.ea.com/chat
Just copy that into the address bar and it will direct you. You do need to know what your ea username is so the operator can help you. So when you are at the chat page,click the  'forgot my screen name' option.  If you need more help send me a message if you like.

i already download the Cerberus Network when i pre-order the game. it be working fine...until this week...everytime i sign in then start the game. it alway say ERROR Cerberus Network cant connect or timed out. i keep trying nothing....what wrong?? can anyone help me?

Are you able to connect to Xbox Live? If you are able to connect, then it must be a problem with EA's servers. It must be down for maintenance, so it will come back online later.

Yeah same problem here, unable to connect to EA-Server (Timeout) when I start it!

Yesterday shortly after downloading firewalker I am unable to connect (now for 18 hours)!


My Xbox Live is still working!

i had the same problem but i went to they EA live chat and the mod told me the email, i logged out, logged in with the other, and now it works, so make sure you arent accidentally using another email.

I bought mass effect 2 (great game (pc)) but my cn dlc code works but I don't see anything different or new guns or armor. Can somebody maybe help me.

You should be posting in the ME2 PC tech boards, so why do that on the 360 equivalent is a bit strange.

As for the Cerberus Network dlcs, have you downloaded them yet? You'll have to go into the 'Your registered game content' tab under 'My profile' to download them if you haven't.
