I just switched out parts of my computer and now my DLC will not show up and will not download.... The games working fine and all my saves and characters are there but because both my previous characters have Shale it will not allow me to play from my saves. I was running win XP and just switched to win 7 so I don't know if maybe there is a different set up for where things are located... Somehow blood armor downloaded but shale and the belt will not. If anyone has advice I'd greatly appreciate it because I've done this before and have had no problems.

Both OS's should still look for content in My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\ directory.  (In specific the DLC is in the addins directory, but require files in the settings directory too.)

Did you do a reinstall of Dragon Age when you switched OS's? If not do that, as there is information that needs to go into the registry.

Also Windows 7 has more problems with the Dragon Age Origins Content Update service running.(The beta fix for the updater helps with that.) Try manually starting it before you start the game:

1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER
2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.
3.) Right click it and select START

Oh, and make sure "Download Previously Purchased Content" is checked under Options->Online.
