I just finished the Landsmeet choosing Alistair to be put on the throne.  At this point I'm in a romance with Leli.  So I went to camp and followed the "So if you were raised in the Chantry, you havent?" dialogue with Alistair.  So we bump pelvises, (I'm trying to marry Alistair so I can rule Fereldan.)  I get to Red Cliff Castle and talked to all my companions.  While talking with Zevran he gives me an earring, though we're at 98 friendly.  I then talk to Leli and get the "I thought you broke it off with Zevran" response, (as I had flirted with him earlier and he took it the wrong way.)

Anyway, I'm kind of laughing mentally cause Leli's pissed at me for receiving a gift from Zevran, but she doesn't say a thing about me and Alistair doing the nasty in camp last night.  I guess she must have thought we were having a pillow fight in his tent or something.

Alistair 100 Love, Leliana 100 Love, Zevran 98 Friendly.  WTF.

Is this a glitch?  Has anyone experienced a similarly weird situation.

If you had gotten the earring from Zevran, he was at Love, it's just your conversation with Leliana downgraded him to friendly. And your choices made him remarkably ok with the breakup.

Edit: I always found it funny when my human noble married Alistair with him somewhere between neutral and friendly (so a political marriage), 100 love with Zevran, and whatever with Leliana, warm to friendly, that she dumps my warden and tells her that Alistair will learn to love her. "How can he help it?"  ARGH!  That's the LAST thing my warden wants!  She just told him in a crowded room, "No nookie for you! I'm trying for an heir with the elf sitting over there!"  Which Alistair is remarkably ok with, incidentally.

Second edit: For true power, don't do the nasty with Alistair if you want to be queen!  He'll marry you no matter what as long as you're above -25 (yes, that's a minus sign).  Lel doesn't like it much, though, as you may have already figured out

Ya weird stuff happens in this game, Like when I sent the 1st enchanter into the fade to save Conner. Morrigan went with him, after they blasted everything in the fade and killed the demon, The 1st enchanter came back, but Morrigan had left my party, went back to the camp, no Morrigan in camp either. The 1st enchanter left her in the Fade! Reloaded a save and it worked right. I have learned to save a lot, and not just quick saves.

I swear it wasn't at Love with Zevran.  I had broken it off with him a while back, (even though I wasn't intentionally romancing him.)  Plus I checked his approval right after he gave me the earring 'cause I thought it was weird.  I remembered from some of your explanations that you had to be at Love with Zevran, (to get the earring.)  I'll go back to right before and double check, but I'm pretty sure.

But in the event you are correct, then that would mean I had 3 companions in love with me simultaneously.  I didn't think you could have more than two.

Ha, aint that the truth.  But no, it wasn't stealth love.  I was actively romancing Leli when all this came down.  But busting my chops for an earring and not doing the pelvic grind with Alistair?  Just don't know what to make of that.  Has to be a glitch.

They make you choose if you click on them. But I've had all three in love -- it's not too difficult! Just after their "in adore" talks, you can't click on them again.

Edit: If you got the earring and Zevran wasn't in love, your game is seriously glitched.  It happens, though.

Yep, you're right.  All three were at 100 Love.  I guess I must not have broken it off with Zev as I thought I had.

You ought to take that save and see the ending of the Zevran romance, just to see it at least once (and reload of course).  You will have to break it off with the other two to do it, but it's really very sweet.
