Expansion is 14 days away. People will have to let me know if the glitched endings effect anything in the expansion. Although from what it sounds like most of your choices, etc. don't matter when you transfer it over.

Couldn't care less. FFXIII is out in 7 days.
A guaranteed bug free experience will be holding my attention for a LONG time.

The 360 versionhas a character cap of 10. Does anyone know if Awakenings will increase the cap? Otherwise 360 gamers are going to have to delete their old characters if they dont want to respec.

That's about where I am now... there's no way I'm paying $40 for an expansion when they haven't even fixed the original game. All I've seen is dlc and now an expansion and no word on any patch/fix, quite disappointing. FF XIII at least will give me something good (and less buggy) to play while I wait and see how the expansion turns out, maybe I'll pick it up used if it isn't too bad, but until they actually fix the bugs/glitches I'm done giving them my money. It's really bad too because I love playing this game, but the total lack of support has taken it's toll, I'm starting to wonder if it ever will be patched.

My personal thoughts is that there will be less bugs in the expansion, although the main game may not be fixed at all when Awakenings comes out.
Just because a bug exists in the original game doesn't mean it will exist in the sequel. Not that it justifies anything, but I'm just sayin'.

There will be probably be less bugs in the expansion, true , it is a lot shorter from what I understand, 15 hours I think. Maybe dex will actually work properly for a rogue.
My main concern is that the original will be swept under the rug in terms of support, especially if the expansion has it's own share of bugs. It worries me that so close to the release of the expansion we still have absolutely no word about a patch/fix for us, I mean in 4 months we had one post from Victor saying that he'd bring up the bugs but didn't know when/if they would be fixed.
I understand that there is red tape to go through with microsoft but we don't even have the dex patch that was released the first week the game was out for pc, which makes me wonder how much they really care about supporting console users, definitely in the "wait and see" category for this expansion.

I'm with you. It also depends on "transfer of data" because honestly... I haven't hated the game yet. But if all the jacked up ending stuff effects storyline stuff in the expansion, I'm not going to play it. Although I imagine that if that IS the case Origins will be rushed with a patch since it would be BLATANTLY obvious that things aren't working properly.
