I don't know if this is the proper place to ask about this, but i don't know of a better place.

I'm trying a new game plus, and i'm on hardcore(i just beat the last game on veteran).  I'm a Sentinel, but that doesnt matter for my question, really.

My question is.. is there any way to improve the intellegence of my squadmates.. or at least a way to make them -NOT- stand up and get focus fired on?  It seems every time i come up against any any with more than pistols, my team mates make it a point to stand up and say hello to -every- rocket that comes their way.. or just plain standing in the middle of nowhere with zero cover...

I try to direct them, but they don't do a very good job of staying in cover (see introducing self to rockets and focus fire).

Is there something i'm doing wrong? or is everything going to be up to me on hardcore and up?

I beat it on hardcore and I think its just your class that is making it so difficult. I found that if you are Infiltrator or Soldier, the game goes much smoother.



When you look at raw power the Soldier is much better but the range and armor/barrier penetration of an Infiltrator even when using the Mantis, is more of a value to your team when playing the game through on hardcore.



I do believe it is just your class choice that is making it so difficult, although I too have yet to master commanding my squad, I usually just use Zaeed and Garrus for the fact that they do the most damage before dying, and it is recommended that you upgrade your medi-gel capacity to full so if you do need to bring back a fallen squad member than you can.
