Wow, from the title I had a feeling this discussion was gonna get ugly but...wow. This is getting quite enjoyable.



What the heck, personally I think femshep could totally punch out someone - she's frakkin Shepard for goodness sake!!!! The savior of the galaxy, the destroyer of reapers, the...well you know what I mean.



Now that I've put in my 2 cents - let the yelling and ripping of limbs continue...please pass the popcorn.

"People like you are the reason people hate Americans..." Is a racist statement. Stereotyping a race based on one person makes you racist. "All humans are racist" is probably a very acurate statement because we put people in boxes all the time. Same with sexism, which the OP seems to be because he says women can't punch someone as good as a men.



I also agree that cinematic death scenes can be funny. The best are old westerns (or movies prior to them adding blood). Because they had no visual cues to show who was shot they had to 'act' it out. Nothing like being shot by a high powered rifle in the chest and then falling forward over a railing while clutching your chest... classic.

A masculine build is still better than a feminine build.

More testosterone is better.  Size is better.  Men have more of both.

There is the psychological aspect that Zyrious had also alluded to.  In sports I know that not every man is ferocious, a berserker.  I'm too lazy to put it into words right now but it is something that a warrior should have that not every man has and it's certainly not the emo nerd rage of woman on man and the like, as in the so called "physical confrontation" that was briefly mentioned and put back down.

Sniping is a whole lot different than fearlessly and determinedly closing to hand to hand combat.  To the death

AFAIK, the OP has no "pal".
There is simply some people who don't like idiocies being presented as facts, and facts demonized as agenda.
You're vastly underestimating the relevance of strength in actual real fight, and the average difference of strength between men and women.

The problem usually is that people have a very weak ability to get what "correlation" and "average" mean - you just have to see how many times someone use an individual example as a "proof" for a statistical affirmation, or how they see plenty of intentions when presented with simply a spectific fact.

Face palms, I was going to stay out of this. For one thing, Female shepard is a highly trained Marine, hell she know all the pressure points in a body to boot. I think we can safely say she one bad ass woman.
