Since you misunderstand my point I'll make it even clearer.



FemShep and ManShep look about the same height and weight, the difference being gender and distrubition of muscle mass.



However, they have.



The exact SAME training.

The exact SAME rank and grade.

The exact SAME gene therapies.

The exact SAME cybernetic enhancements.



It's already been established that a woman of similar weight to a man can punch just as hard, and given all this, YOU HAVE NO POINT.

First off, let's handle the whole "he's sexist" thing. Now, it's been a while since i've studied anatomy and biology (and it's brought up in health classes as well), but Men are most certainly stronger than women on the average. They have more densley packed muscle fibers and women have to put in twice as much effort to develop muscle(on the average). So lets not jump on him for the base of his opinion(There does seem to be a high amount of feminists on these forums, however), but rather the fact he's an idiot.

The simple response to this thread is "She's wearing armor". Regardless of her physical strength, she's wearing heavy, metal armor. A kid could hit you with that and it'd still ****ing hurt like hell. Besides, she's a heavily trained soldier, they get the kind of training to utilize their own personal strength's and weaknesses in a way that will hurt most civilians regardless of gender.

And i dont think there are any scene's where she headbutt's heavily trained soldiers and shrugs it off....err...for the most part.

10 bucks says i'm called a sexist "Society has moved beyond such rhetoric! Facts dont matter, it's the 21'st century, biological differences have been willed out of existence by the feminist movement!".

Male Shepard does not look like he's the same weight as female Shepard, not even close.  Male Shepard weighs at least 30 lbs more than female Shepard.  Muscle weighs more than fat afterall.

That is not being sexist, I'm just stating that a person who has a natural advantage in strength being knocked out by a woman means he must be a wuss since he lost a fight despite having a natural advantage due to gender.

It would be like a human outswimming a dolphin.

So, we essentially have two versions of a person who have the exact same natural abilities, gene therapy, training and experience. The only difference is that the other one is male and about 30-40 kg heavier with clearly larger and better developed muscles.

OF COURSE he should have a more powerful melee attack.

And that makes you another person who confuses base muscle mass with the ability to use it properly.

We're talking about two people who are the same person except with different genders.  Why would a male Shepard have less of an idea of how to effectively utilize his muscle mass compared to a female Shepard?
Logic dictates that their training and skill are equal so the only difference here is male Shepard having more muscle mass due to being male.  That should give him more strength and thus stronger melee attacks.

Again, you are confusing strength with power. Not to mention it's a waste of effort. You can deliver just as much pain and bruising to someone without having to put all your strength into your melee attacks. Muscle mass is at the cost of speed. In the time it takes you put all your effort into a punch I would have already dodged it. That's why punches are focused and located, so you don't waste energy and still do a ton of damage.

That is sexist, because this "natural advantage" you speak of is not a universal rule and is easily overcome by any number of factors.
You stated that a man being knocked out by a woman, any woman, even a soldier, makes him a wuss.
You are sexist as all hell.
