i want to find the save game file so i can move my game from my wifes computer  to mine now that i got a new grafix card

should be in your my documents folder

Yep, My Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect\\Save is the relevant directory.



IIRC on Vista/7 the top of the path will be something like C:\\Users\\Your Username\\
