No. Put dual-wield in the game and make it completely impossible to hit anything except at point blank. That's immersion, folks.

*Sigh*

You see BioWare, that's what happens when you dumb down RPG elements and add a lot of combat. All the 10 year old FPS dumbasses want stupid ****.

I want to walk into a room and have the ability to point guns at two people rather than one during dialogue.

Realistically, Legion could probably dual-wield. He is a synthetic after all, he has to have targeting systems that gives him perfect aim /shrug

I'm really glad that this hasn't made the jump to the ME universe. It takes two hands to properly stabilize a weapon, Bioware got this one right.

Dual-wield = zero accuracy = no thx.

They should have a Golgo-13 DLC where you take sniper training which makes it impossible to miss ad everything is a one-hit kill.

That, at least, would be hilarious.

Halo died with Halo 2, coincidentally when they introduced duel wielding.

also Vasht that was some guy goofing off, I highly doubt he would be doing something so stupid in actual combat.

Akimbo is for 12 year old douchebags. It's stupid in every game. Seriously, only the most retarded retard could think think Akimbo guns is cool.

As for thane using 2 guns, if you watch, He sights both and fires. Then Drops them. That's different than using them both in a fire fight.

Not to mention that he is right in the open and exposed to enemy return fire.

You realise that hardly anyone in their right mind dual wields in halo, and at least in halo it makes some sense, you are a FREAKING SUPER SOLDIER, not some average guy like in MW2 which is a game that I feel like I wasted $60 on.

In mass effect it would make no sense, as recoil would blow both your arms off, so yeah it's stupid.

I think just with the pistols
there are so many times I wanted to go hot fuzz on my enemies with two pistols
but it never happened
but SMGs....that would be too much

hell to the no on duel weilding. if anything the gun system should stay with the me2 system. all bioware needs to do now is fix the shotgun and im happy. the sniper riffle was a great improvment

You have to admit there are some moments when dual wielding works.

I could see dual wielding SMGs being fairly viable. Take off the ability to aim with it and increase the random hitbox by 25-50% and double the recoil and it would be balanced and realistic. I'm for any changes that allow non soldiers/infiltrators/sentinels to actually play the game more aggressively. That just might do it.

The fact that Shepard's bones are pretty much laced with strong metal suggests he should be able to handle the recoil, and it's not like you can be accurate with the Tempest anyway. I have no problems with dual wielding.

Actually it makes no sense how from the first game he couldn't duel wield then all of a sudden he could, Halo 2/3 were just total blow jobs for young teens, Bungie killed Halo with that kind of nonsense.

Increase the hitbox by 200-300% and triple the recoil at least and you are getting somewhat near to the level of fail that is dual wielding.

Seriously, why do people want to ram dual-wielding into every game?  It was cool the first two or three times I saw it, now I'm utterly bored of it, can't people be more imaginative these days?  It doesn't fit with the style of the game and yet people want to see it shoved it, well Bioware if you are listening and decide to put dual wielding in I will dual wield my fist into everyone's face!  (And then get beaten to death by their kid sister).
