I know there are many Zevran fans out there who have the luxury of being able to record, reply, and look back at dialogue due to having a PC. So, somebody help a girl with an xbox out?
Starting a new game, wondering where I should go first. (Question about Zevran)

Because, seriously, you want Zevran in the fade.
Edit: removed stuff

NO! Take him to the mage tower. If anything, if you're planning on romancing him, consider doing the sacred ashes quest line. You'll hear about what the guardian has to say to him before you do it if you do it last anyway.
No don't do sacred Ashes first. Zev has some nice dialogue in Haven.
Personally I'd do Brescilian forest first or maybe Orzammar. Zev hasn't too much dialogue in Orzammar unless you plan to double cross people.
I think Brescilian forest is only worth doing last if you are dalish (at least I think the part at the campfire where your companions introduce themselves to the elves after being asked wether they are wardens as well, is unique to dalish elves)

Haven is good, as is Redcliff. Gah. Redcliff is fastest as long as you sacrifice Isolde or Conner.
Just . . . take Zevran to the circle! *grin* It's the only place you'll hear about, well, what you hear about there and you will have concrete proof about how he covers up things.
edit: yes, I did.

Your character can then have an "Oh" moment when Zev finally confides.
Or if your character knows, then (s)he understands Zev's reaction to the guardian.

I love him in Orzammar and wouldn't even consider going there without him.

Maybe the game is glitched for me but I only had to do half of the Sacred Ashes quest before I got Zevran, so I was able to take him along for the ashes part. I met up with him right after I took care of the Connor situation.

No, that's right. What I mean by sacred ashes goes like this.
Lothering => Denerim => Haven => Andestre's temple. You don't have to go to Redcliff first.
Conner is part of the Redcliff arc.

you will want to take him to Haven and the mage tower however and his conversation with Harrowmonts 2nd in command is really good to

Gah, you know, I switch up always which one I start with between the three I mentioned. I just love Zevran in Redcliff so much, threatening Murdock, helping my warden intimdate Berwick, cheering her on as she takes over Lloyd's bar . . . but it is fast! And the Dalish . . . gah, how can you resist hearing him plead for the dalish? Though you do end up with the gloves immediately, so that's good.

To be honest, I was least impressed with Zevran while doing the elven areas because he didn't have much to say and even admits his knowledge of his ancestors is next to nothing. (I heard way more dialogue from Sten there.) You'd miss out on a joke he makes at the hermit camp (the tree stump), but you can easily get that in another game, romance or no. So I'd either do the blood ritual at Redcliffe or do Brecilian Forest first.Juneya wrote...
So, this time around, i want to aim to get the most Zevran dialogue possible. But, seeing as there's the little predicament of having to complete at least one major plotline event, I'm not sure where to start.

No worries, ejoslin, I wouldn't have the first clue either, but it sounds like others might be able to mod that for us. That would seriously make me happy-dancey-happy.

First you need to enable the console, go to
dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console#Console_commands
and follow the instructions.
Now load up a save game and create a new save (I always make a new save before using the console just to be safe, even though I have never had any problems after using it).
Go to Lothering (it doesn't matter where from really, but the whole is max Zev time) with your chosen party (do not travel from camp unless your awesome enough to kill them all on your own
Bring up the console and type runscript zz_ran_debug and press enter (if nothing happens you mistyped something), this will start the Random Events Debugger, now select Plot then Zevran and you will appear at the start of that encounter.
If you need any thing explained clearer just PM me.
EDIT: This encounter may prove to be very difficult at low levels (if you don't mind cheating pause the game and use runscript killallhostiles this should kill every enemy but Zev in the area

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Edit: I'm going to test this now, and if it works, may I add it to my FAQ (giving you full credit of course)?
Edit: Eeeep, maybe I was a bit too enthusiastic in my thanks. I'm, ummm, stepping out now . . .
Third edit: And it works. YAY! Thank you again for this!

I can hardly say "No" can I...
As for not hearing of me that would be because I mainly lurk due to being to lazy to post (although I recognised your name from the Abominable Wynne thread).
