Heres my dilema...I go through all this crap starting at Haven noticing locked box after locked box. For plot purposes i use Zevran as my rouge, but ever set him up with lock picking.

So I return to camp to hook up with Leliana to unlock all the boxes in the laberenth....and she quizzes me the outcome of the quest, and leaves no matter what I say (my dwarfly persuasian fails).

Any way to keep her after committing my dastardly deeds?

I defiled the ashes with my evil dwarf. And I left Leliana and Wynn out of my party.

Wynn got angry at camp and left. Leliana never said anything.

Can't remember if she was hardened or not in that playthrough before the ashes.



But if you do her personal quest and harden her before going to Haven she will stay and not mention the ashes.

by "hardened" do you mean her favour towards youi was high?

You need 3 Coerision and Lie to Leliana that you kept the Ashes safe However Wyne will leave no matter what

After doing her quest Leliana's past if you talk to her to harden her which makes her less likely to object to evil actions and not react to when you defile the ashes. You say something about she enjoyed killing and embrace it that's who you are. somehting along those lines.

And she wont react when you defile the ashes or even mention it.

Ok luckily I saved just before the urn...returned to camp to butter leliana up....but cant get approval too far past the mid point.



Ive already started a semi-romantic dialogue with her before...but may have overlooked dialogue options to activate her quest...is there any other way to activate it>?

It's one of the more annoying quests to trigger.  I usually try to get her at like +30 and i've had great success initiating the quest.  Problem is if your approval is too high she doesn't seem to ever give you the quest.  I had to 'break up' with her at some point because I was at +80 and she wouldn't give it to me...the quest that is.  But after, I got the quest easy.

Try looking for 'Leliana's Past' on the dragon age wiki.

I think you have to talk about bards and spies to trigger the quest.

i have...maybe i activated it by accident
