and i am planning to buy this for my computer for the tool set but having a character in your camp saying heres a quest o wait that will be$$$ is retarded.
and how can a "warden" quest be an addon in my mind that should be part of the game since it sounds like something the main story would hold.
i do not agree its half a game but if there is alot of content coming out that involes more or less the "main" story ill start questioning Bioware further.
i want my ****ing sound track. i will download it if i have to.

Buy a backpack before heading into the tower. Now you can carry 80 items. There are three more available later on.Magnum Opus wrote...
2. Storage. Seems more than passingly strange that a 70 item limit is what they decided to go with in a game like this. I was leaving things behind before leaving the Tower of Ishal, for pity's sake. That it would take a bit of DLC to correct such a problem is... odd. Suspicious? Maybe if I were the sort to subscribe to the "content removal" theory, it would seem suspicious, but I prefer to think that someone just messed up somewhere, or they forgot that item hoarding is a major draw of this sort of game for many, many players.
All in all... not impressed with this latest "innovation" in story telling.

Fact of the matter is, it's optional, don't cry. I don't cry every time I go to a resturaunt and can't justify ordering everything on the menu.

SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL DO YOU PEOPLE WANT? They provide you with MORE content thats both optional and awesome, yet you complain that it should be removed or made magically free, right because people work for nothing in this day and age and unicorns fart revenue streams. They provide you with a MASSIVELY indepth rpg that has unprecedented play time and replayability and you complain its too short. They give you a brand new RPG experience and half of you gripe that its not Baldurs Gate 3. My God if ever I needed a reason to wonder why developers dont read their own forums this destroys that curiosity. Your all entitled to your opinions, but some of them are shockingly ignorant and petty when viewed in light of everything this game accomplishes.

I completely agree. The practice is contemptible and this is definitely not something I'd expect from a company of this stature. I'm also curious, after spending years on developing an immersive world with realistic NPCs, was this cheap immersion-breaking advertising trick really worth it?

The sad truth is that Bioware is now suffering from EA. They're turning into another mindless drone that does as their puppetmaster decrees.
Expect to see games from Bioware steadily deterioating, like all other games that EA touches. DLC and microtransactions are the new buzz and EA wants a slice of the pie from the RPG crowd.
Yep, that means you.
For all of you morons that love to waste money, good for you. The rest of us, who feel it's cheating to charge extra for something that's already IN THE BOX, we are just as entitled to our opinion.
This isn't the Sims where you pay to get a different set of pants. It's Dragon Age, the so-called spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate series. Baldur's Gate didn't have ****ty DLC. It had HUGE expansions, not some dinky small add-on that's hardly worth the price.
Tell me to GTFO all you want, the main thing is my comment is now on the boards for all to see, plus the rabid responses of blind fanboys too.

NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO BUY IT. How can that be made any clearer. You all stand there with your hands out demanding that it should be free, well put your hands in your pockets and go find something else to do. This is reality we face, sure it would be nice if it were free but those days are over. Games like this cost millions to make and premium content comes at a premium price.
You can all have your ****ing morale outrage, but its really just useless verbal masterbating that doesn't change a thing. Change shoes with the developers and I imagine your perspective would change when the very fans your trying to please suddenly crucify you for offering them more.

I love books. And for me, Dragon Age is a huge massive book. Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep are just additional short stories adding background to a novel I love!
I know that those short stories could not have been part of the book. If you keep adding stories to a book without releasing it, the book would never have come out and I would have never enjoyed. But once it is out and in my hands .. I want to know more
My team, the team making the DLC is a small group of people who love RPGs, they love Dragon Age and they want to write additional stories for this massive book that we all love!

Just wait for "game of the year' editions, my man. I did that with Oblivion, and I was happy. I think they advertised there would be paid downloads before they released it. What bothers me is that musical instrument in my camp. I want to play it. I would pay 1.00 to be able to pick up and strum some chords on that thing while a few of my group danced. I would pay 1.50 if they let me practice arpeggios.
I would actually pay 2.00 for an explination of how my charecter had sex while wearing plate armor.
that made me lol'd...

Creating a thread were its main purpose is to feed grievances for those that are already concerned, is hardly conducive to telling EA/Bioware that you dislike their DLC approach. You need to start sending in well constructed criticisms in the for of an email, to have proper consideration for your concerns. All Bioware is getting from this is the same reciprocating argument that has happened within the last umpteenth thread created about this subject.
Well you want suggestions?
How about giving a stash as part of the original game? How could bioware put a limited inventory without thinking about this?
Now, i agree with the fact that Dragon age could be a great novel with parts left. But when I read a book, I don't expect to suddenly see the book telling me: if you buy this other book, you will have the full story! So please, just stop selling those thing in-game. If you REALLY want to advertise in-game, at least put it in the main menu or in a news section. And again, I want to point out that I'm not against DLC if they offer a fair content for a fair price.
Aside from those two things, Dragon Age ROCK! really that much!

Hardly worth the price? It's 7$, I could eat 7$ worth of food in 5-10 minutes.
And as for Baldurs Gate not having DLC, neither did just about anything else 5 years or older, Morrowind did not but Oblivion had, Fallout 1-2 did not but Fallout 3 had, GTA IV was the first in the series to have DLC, I could go on but I have better things to do, and if you still complain, than I pity you

That said, I don't really think they should have put the guy who directs you to the DLC in the game, I myself ignore him untill I buy it, but as I said earlier, i understand completaly that people are angry by this, and I hope Bioware patch him out in the near future
