The suspense is drivin me batty. Why was Maric at sea when he died? How did Loghain find out about Alistair? Is Al Fiona's love child? What in the world did Maric promise the Witch of the Wilds? I'm sure I'm not alone here, with my need-to-know. Though I probably am only one of very few that doesn't intend on buying the new expansion pack. (Yes, I hate Oghren just that much) so I'am in need of an alternative for my DA fix. If not for me, then do it for the Barnes and Nobles crew that ache for my money.

I agree. I want another book. I'm planning on getting the expansion pack, but I still want a book.

Yeah, I don't think the expansion is going to answer too many questions left from the first two books. Maybe a little more re: The Architect and Darkspawn and their goals....but not too much else.

Another book would be a wonderful thing, but I'm not holding my breath
So many questions, both story wise and ironing out which things in the Codex are bad/legacy information. A post-Calling-pre-Game book would be a godsend.

This. I want more Maric, dangit! He can't just die like a redshirt. Can he?

Not everybody can die a heroic and glorified death.

Maric is on a ship, leaning on a railing wondering why there are no elven lasses on the ship for him to bed and he's then whisked off into a daydream of being the only man locked in a castle full of virginal yet ready and willing elven lasses, and a huge wave comes up and he looses his balance and falls over the side. Only to get eaten by a passing Krakken before enyone notices he's no longer on the ship.
Poor Maric.
Poor Maric.
