Liara's looking for a new assistant. Parasini would be a great choice.

No minor NPC will ever be a squad mate (since most can die)
You must be right since you work at Bioware

Shiala and Gianna can both die in ME1, but they both can express romantic interest to you in ME2. I suspect that they're going to be "hidden" characters in ME3, a bonus only available to those who beat the entire trilogy.

What?! Screw Liara! She'll be serving coffee in bed for Gianna.

Is it weird that I would love for my Shep to be able to boink her?

How about Gianna Parasini for ME4? Sci-fi Noir!

I never really liked her and can't see her as a squad mate, just one of those side quest NPCs.

Nah, I don't think so. I find her boring and uninteresting. I don't understand what all the hype is about.

If you do both her quests in the two games, she'll kiss the MShep in ME2. This, and Shiala's similar interest to both MShep and FShep seem to imply that they might return as LIs in ME3, assuming that you let them live, and helped them in the both games. Hence my guess that they have a role as "hidden" characters.

Ah, well I guess I didn't catch that as I always play Fem Shep. Still, not enough to hook me. d:Lightice_av wrote...

Frankly, I'm sick to death with the whole "I want Xxxxx as a LI in ME3" thing. I could care less, and I think that BioWare were wrong to pander to all the Hentai-Renderphile-Cartoon-Fetishists that the first game's love scenes created. She's merely a well developed/developing character, and I think she should get a larger role in ME3. Or even in a ME2 DLC.

I'd like to see her as a non-crew romance option for Shepard in ME3. As much as the romances you can play around with are fun, I'd rather go for someone outside the crew.

Anyone see her in ME3? I've looked everywhere and still nothing. Parasini was scrapped but Genna wasn't? wtf is with that?

The Dark Energy plot got dropped. No Gianna and no Kal'Reager.

I recall she told Shepard that "a lot of people are suddenly interested in Dark Energy. My superiors want to know if it's something to worry about." but I didn't associate that with an entire plot device. What's all this about a "Dark Energy plot"? I'm assuming it was a change which was leaked?

Basically, maybe. There is no completely reliable information about Bioware's development processes. Some of the maybe-reliable leaks suggest that the origional plan was for the ME3 explanation for the Reapers being something to do with stopping Dark Energy build ups. Or something. I'm not clear how far into development it got dropped.
