Seems like the quest "Watchguard of the reaching" in the Mage's Tower is uncompletable after you've been to the Fade. None of the statues even react to TAB any more. I had done the first three statues, but then I sort of forgot about the fourth as opposition mounted on the way up the tower. I made a save before the Uldred fight but that's too late also. I think the Fade is the triggering point for this bug.
Yes, I consider it a bug; there is no reason this quest should be incompletable at this point, since you still have access to all the areas needed. Also, if it's supposed to be uncompletable, please mark it so in the journal.
If anyone knows how to complete this quest using the console or something, please post.

I cleared the entire tower before trying to do this quest. The statue holding the shield in the round room that has the stairs that go to the fourth floor is not clickable for you anymore? in my game after I did the other 3 statues the 4th became a straight up click, rather hard to miss for me... I wonder if you may have clicked on it by accident while moving through the tower or if it may have bugged because you did 3 and then the final event of this dungeon?

Well, I'm a _bit_ late to this party, but no, the status was not clickable. I don't think I missed any of the others and either way, they weren't clickable either and the quest couldn't be completed (or failed).
