I sign onto this, I like Shiala.....but when she was in ME1, and purple. The appeareance on ME2...was different for some reason... at least in my view she didn't appear to be the same....not coz of the color but I didn't recognize her.

She didn't seem the same.

It seemed like her voice was rougher to me.

Yeah I was actually hoping for Shiala in ME2. She has an interesting background. Her abilities and backstory make her a viable squadmate for ME3. Not only that, her having an attraction to Shepard in ME2 makes sense. Similar how Tali had Shepard come to her rescue and cause a longing for something more with him. Hopefully Bioware agrees.

Absolutely my opinion as well. Although I think implementing the option to kill her in ME1 was a mistake and let the "Renegade" Shep look like a lunatic "I kill my way through the galaxy" Spectre without many higher brain functions . To kill someone who is not responsible for his actions because of indoctrination or mind control is simple murder. I know that Biowarer wanted to build some moralistic twists and dilemmas but sometimes the Renegade Shepard appears a litte less intelligent than his Paragon counterpart.

You've got that right. Then again, stupid actions aren't exactly unprecedented in RPG's. Just look at what you can do in Dragon Age.

Do you suggest that she got herself pregnant in the melding process for the cipher and now there could be a little Shiala/Shepard daughter?:wub: If you do - Amazing theory but I always thought that this would be more pleasant and enjoyable for both. But on th other hand we know nothing about this in detail.

yes, she definitely needs to be a LI in ME3, because she is the most interesting asari in the game.

Shiala would also be a valuable ally, with her knowledge of the Reaper and by possessing the Prothean Cipher (things that will surely be apart of ME3).

I think we can safely say that Shiala is the 3rd most popular Asari in the series behind Li. and Sam., if she is included as a squadmember in ME3 then that might even change!



I'd say she's more popular than Morinth as well despite both Asari attempting to kill Shepard at one point or another.

That is saying something when you compare the amount of exposure Liara and Samara receive as squad members. I continue to hope that due to her popularity and background that Shiala will be included as a full squad member in ME3.

But to be precise - while Morinth obviously really didn't care about Shep's survival or not, Shiala never wanted to kill him, it always were the clones the Thorian had created. And even if the clones had the personality of Shiala it was still the Thorian who controlled them. Shiala's true nature never wanted to harm the commander. Maybe ther was an attraction at first sight!

Hm. Shiala is an asari, fitting the original lore for being an LI.

Also a potential squadmember as she has the skills.
