It certainly falls within the realm of possibility.

However, I think if Shiala does come back that she I don’t think the complicated life-force of the Thorian has played itself out. If Shiala does come back she will still be suffering from her prolong and direct exposure to the Thorian and whatever unforeseen side effects that may entail.

Something we I found amusing in a recent interview with Mac Walters. Hopefully this means more Shiala for ME3!

But, we use our fans a lot, our community. We know by the polls –there are sometimes polls on the website-, we know who the popular characters are, who people want to see come back, and so sometimes, you’ll think,

‘Wow, I wrote that as a minor character for fun, but people are really interested about knowing more about themselves, so can we bring them back?', and if they are alive, well we do.

Gwendoline Yeo speaks her lines differently in ME2, but it's still her. She also did Captain Wasea.

I do prefer her look in ME1 a lot more though (both colors). Perhaps she'll get a better texture for ME3. Liara looked terrible in ME2 also until LotSB, so here's hoping they do the same for Shiala.

She definitely deserves more than a freakin cameo in the next game. She's a former asari commando. A thrall of the thorian, an organic foil to the reapers. One of two people in the galaxy with the prothean cipher and the only person to ever come back from indoctrination

Shiala is clearly my favourite green Asari commando in the universe. Right after green Asari Shepard and those two.

I would really appreciate if she'd get a more significant role in ME3. Even if it's just one or two missions.

PS3 proves that only the most unloyal get free DLC, too. 

Not to say it will happen, but it's stuff like this that will be reward for for those of us who have seen the series through.

People like Verner and Shiala make the galaxy seem a little less alone. Hopefully there's an option for us loyalists. :happy:

I am hopeful that we will at least get a mission or two with Shiala, it seems within the realms of possibility to reasonably hope for.

It is a possibilty for some of us... Personally, that would make my year again! (since ME3 should be doing so once over)

She does not kiss you on Illium, if you did not romance anyone in Mass Effect 1. Shiala will touch you & Mention that she has interest in you.

I know Gianna Parasini will kiss shepard if your Male on the cheek.

Ah, thanks. Then I guess I'll just continue my trend of hooking up with Liara, only to possibly dump her in the series finale...

As for Gianna, I always choose the dialogue option that doesn't lead to that kiss.

No new romances has been confirmed, I'm sorry to say.

However, Hudson also said on Tweeter that there will be opportunities to extablish relationships, romantic and otherwise, with both old and new characters.
I wouldn't give up on Shiala just yet. Hope dies last, right?
