I logged in a bit ago and noticed that two of my characters are naked. Thinking it was just a graphical bug I checked their inventory. Most of their armor is gone. Not just unequipped but totally missing.
Thinking maybe a rust monster ate their armor I tried loading an older save game. Guess what? No armor there either. So basically all of the armor that I fought so hard for on two characters is completely gone. Not really feeling like playing at the moment, since I'm stuck in the mage tower naked.

This is very quickly killing my love for this game. I have just barely gotten past my origin sequence -- leaving Ostagar with my party of four for the first time -- and I have had to re-load three times after the initial encounter with wolves, because my main character's good bow vanished during the fight.
Now I am feeling paranoid and checking everyone's equipment obsessively after each fight, and all of the fun is draining out. If there is no fix for this soon, I'm going to lose interest. I see a lot of forum posts about similar issues, so Bioware have to be aware of the problem... Please guys, do something about this? Thanks.

Oh. I withdraw my complaint.
Playing very carefully in order to determine exactly when the problem was happening, I found that it was when my character was attacked up close, and switched from bow to melee weapons. The game was swapping out weapon sets, a mechanic I was not familiar with from any previous game. After combat, the bow was in the weapon set #1 and I did not see it in my own inventory or in party inventory... And I assumed that it had vanished, an assumption seemingly confirmed by the many posts about disappearing items I saw here.
In other words... Never mind.
Now I am feeling paranoid and checking everyone's equipment obsessively after each fight, and all of the fun is draining out. If there is no fix for this soon, I'm going to lose interest. The same bug has happened to me in the werewolf forest. Alistair loads as naked (except for his helmet) on all saves. I've tried reloading and he's still naked with his armor completely missing from my inventory (it's the warden armor).
I assume it's a bug. Is there a workaround yet?

just had the slayer achievement ... which somehow removed most of the weapons and armor from my inventory ... including the blood armor download :S

having exact same problem, all my prior saves zevran has nothing but a helmet and my main has everything except his helmet. The save file even shows the helmet on my guy.

I hate to bump such an old topic, but I am having this problem also. The Warden's Keep armor set disappears right off of Alistair. It isn't in his inventory, either. I am logged in when I sign into the game, so why isn't the DLC armor there?

In case my problem is not the same as everyone elses, I will explain it fully.
I have the Blood Dragon Armour DLC installed, and have used it without issue throughout my first game. now I am halfway through my second game and it has disappeared. It was being worn by Sten (who was a non-active party member - left back at camp). When I returned to camp it was gone, both from his inventory, and from the general inventory.
I have tried logging out of, and then logging back in, to try and re-enable the DLC.
Shale is in my party and remains unaffected, so it cannot be a more widespread DLC problem.
