I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where the original poster said they didn't want to use their class abilities, I was under the impression that they wanted to use their sniper rifle more then the SMG or Pistol.

wait........what? I...never said that either....how about you go back to page 1 and READ what I posted instead of cramming words down my throat. Theriddlen basically described what i ment quite clearly. Which I replied and saying "this is what i ment"

I was refering to the original poster, Vaenier, of the post that CmdrFenix83 had quoted, that's why I said the original poster instead of OP.  Sure I could have used his name, but I guess I didn't think I needed to because anyone who was READING would be able to follow the conversation and know what we were talking about.  So how about you go back and READ what we were discussing instead of being an ass and jumping down my throat.

Use his name next time then. Seeing as original poster meants OP. There has been many users who have used "original poster" instead of OP. Be more specific when on a forum. Also try admiting your mistake instead of making up excuses.

Back on topic. Reason it would be good to try the options that I mentioned is because then atleast infiltrators can snipe without worry and plus it would again have "infinite" ammo that was in ME1. Plus it would still have the reload system and cover system that ME2 uses so really...it would be a combination of both games...Plus you can add some sort of quick reload thing that was in Gears of Wars 1 and 2 to add more of a challenge to it. That and it would add a more rewarding result. (Or a more negative result).

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the ME2 ammo system. I dislike the way it was somewhat clumsily crowbarred into the lore with the Geth-technology retrofit explanation, and how the shotgun and hand cannon ammo capacity seems ridiculously small (2 reloads? Seriously?). On the other hand, the game's shooter aspects feel much smoother with its addition- guns in ME1 started off as inaccurate firecrackers that would overheat in seconds, and eventually turned into endless bullet hoses as you upgraded. The weapons in ME2 feel much better rounded with the addition of reloading, and of course, it's always nice to have the whole action-movie-cool-reload-oomph thrown in (or maybe it's just me).

I think a reload mechanic rather than an overheat one needs to stay in place for ME3 , albeit perhaps with some tuning to ammuntion capacity. I know I'm repeating myself, but I just think it's ludicrous how much spare ammunition you can carry for the automatic weapons in comparison to the single shot ones.

I was correct in using the term original poster because I was infact refering to the original poster of the post we were discussing, you assumed it to mean the original poster of the thread.  I already admitted that I should have used his name, perhaps you should admitt that you should have read what we were talking about before jumping down my throat, but then again I guess it's too much to expect someone on the internet to figure out that 1+1=2.

The non hybrid side of the arguement has already proven that they are not willing to compromise now that they have what they want, to them, we can all be damned.  At this point the best thing BW could do to keep both sides happy would be to simply add a drop down at the begining of the game that asks what ammo system you want to use, hell they could even add acheivements for using the ME2 ammo system on HC or above, course the achievements do do PC users any good but w/e.

Thanks to heat sinks and kinetic barriers that stop based on impact force, it was discovered that slower moving projectiles could bypass shields. Therefore in ME3 we'll be using bows and arrows.
