Under playability

Fussy camera angles can slow you down in battle, and inventory management is a minor pain. Otherwise, the interface works incredibly well.

Not huge issues i know...im sure they wont kill the game and it is only one persons review.  But fussy camera angles hurt NW2 and poor inventory management can be a pain at times.

Again, small issues compared to the overall review which appears to bode well for DAO.

Well, it won't be ironed out before release that's for sure (they've already content locked the game and I'm sure they are soon to go gold). It's possible they will release a patch to deal with this although remember this is only one guy's opinion so until I play the game or tons of reviews start pointing this out as an issue I wouldn't get to worried about it.

NWN1 had a pretty bad inventory system as well, but you learned how to manage it and got used to it. I guess this review just isn't used to Bioware games. From what I've seen it reminds me of the Mass Effect inventory, which was easy enough to use.

This article was discussed before...

We don't really know what he means by "fussy" camera angles..he doesn't really explain. Though I'm inclined to think it will be similar to any other camera "issue" that is common to most games, such as objects blocking your view when you are more zoomed in, like trees, walls. I doubt this will be an actual problem...after all, you have control of the camera.

I agree about list inventories..I don't really like them..I prefer the grid. However I think this one is much improved over Mass Effect, so it should be fine.

The camera angles slowing me down shouldn't be an issue, since I intend on playing it like the BG series with lots of pausing to issue orders. In that scenario, I'll adjust camera angles while paused.

Inventory system...I'll have to wait on. I didn't like ME's system at all (it was probably one of the worst inventory systems ever), but I got used to it for the little loot that mattered. DA:O, I think, is going to be different.
