I love Mass Effect world and want to find a time line for the products that are out there. I want to avoid spoilers so am afraid to search too much. However, cursory Google searches has proved fruitless.

So, in term so of what media is out there where does what fit in the timeline for:

• Mass Effect 1, the game + DLC (seems like DLC doesn't matter)
• Mass Effect 2, the game
• Mass Effect Redemption (Comics)
• Mass Effect Revelation, Retribution and Ascension (Novels)

I read the first book, Revelation that is set prior to the first Mass Effect game. I believe the comic is set right before the events of Mass Effect 2. Where does the rest fit in?

By the way, I loved Revelation!

Thanks, I saw the timeline posted by lightice during a search. However, as Varenus pointed out and I guessed, it contains spoilers so I stayed far away from it.



Either way, thanks for the reply especially to Varenus for including ME Galaxy. I completely forgot about that game. Wish they would make it a flash, Xbox Live Arcade or Zune game. I don't want to buy an iTouch/iPhone just to play a $2 game!

Do anyone know where in the time line the third novel, Mass Effect Retribution fits in?

This novel is to be released in July 2010 as shown in that link.

Nope, as far as I know, there is no information on the content or timeline of that novel

Judging by the cover art, I wonder if it's about the "creation" of the Elusive Man

Judging from the back cover, it takes place after Ascension, and almost certainly after ME2.
