Damn! Is it just me or is the inferno grenade pretty much useless?? talk about character generation regret.

I quite like it, personally. I've been playing with the "throw" power for a bit (or whatever it's called) but I'm beginning to miss being able to lob grenades about.

Well fortunatly for you, if you go to your research terminal you can reskill your special power for a small amount of eezo

Have you thrown an inferno grenade directly at an armored target? It almost completely obliterates the armor bar...

I always went through the Reaper ship on Insanity with Zaeed because of Inferno Grenade.

When used by Zaeed, Inferno Grenade is one of the best abilities around. Not so hot when used by Shepard though.

Got more use out of Reave than the grenade. Retrain it out from the research console.

I am sure you guys noticed this by now, but when you are using a team mates ability there is no aiming, Shep is the only one who needs line of sight, and its instantaneous. That is what makes this ability awesome on Zaeed. When you have it yourself its problematic because it has no homing ability, it really is just a grenade. You need to position your cursor correctly so that the grenade toss lands exactly where you want it to, so there is some guessing involved. I guess its an 'homage' to ME1 fans who really miss grenades.

Works quite well against a swarm of husks (with Zaeed), combind it with some other aoe. It can be a win win.

No fan of the Inferno Grenade, but it's Shredder Ammo that probably takes the crown for being the most useless skill ever. AP Ammo does the same and more.
