Hi all.

When i start up Dragon Age, i seem to be logged out.

When i go to login, and insert the password (correct password of course) it says to me precisely this error message:"System Error, please try again later. If issue persists please contact EA customer support".

So, in brief... how to solve this? or is this widespread?

Yep getting the same thing, that's why I'm here checking. Hopefully a temporary thing.

FFS, this is not a good sign of what we'll do when we decide to dig the game out in 5 years time. I can't get menus up or play the game when I get this system error.

I've just had this also, now its let me back in, but made all my dlc unauthorised

The server seems to be back up, at least I was able to login again.

Sort of.  Uncheck "always login" and you should be able to play fine in offline mode.

Still, I agreed, a potentially great game has been mired in *bleep*.

I think i found out the answer, the server does not recognize special characters. So go and reset your password to something else. it should work

Yep, that was exactly the problem now it works perfectly now. It was a programming error to not let the user enter a password that has special characters.

fucm man i was playing... i got to get out the game and when i wanna go back and kick some darkspawn ass i get the same error -.- i'm waiting for ea live chat customer support...

okay... the technical support from ea are unable to assist me... i guess there's a problem with ea servers...
Zushin, WraithTDK you have the same issue right now? i don't know if i have to wait or what... do you install any dlc or mod? (that's the question they ask me) I'M NOT USING ANY MOD! so guys do you install any dlc or mod today?

Just tried it. It appears to be a server issue with EA. If you have patch 1.05 installed, there should be no issue playing while logged out-- your DLC should remain authorized.

@Linth, yeah I have the issue currently. I've got all the DLC but I've had it installed for ages. I'm also not using any mods. @Raen, thanks, I agree must be on EA's end.

Got the same issue sadly, on top of that i cant download The Stone Prisoner DLC from my account here, the rest of the DLC's works fine

same here, game playing fine but the logged out status window with the system error on load, also can't connect to data server on bioware page to delete some old characters... although I did install a Leliana face mod today, hmmm

Guys i chat with another guy from ea tech support and well, schedule maintainance is going on

Thanks Linth, they might be finished maintenance now, I just rebooted and was able to login on load and no more system error message at my end, hope is ok for everyone else too soon...
